In the pitch-black world, not a single trace of light could be found.
Only the dim lights in the distance illuminated the path forward for the surviving humans.
Two hours later, Shen Zhao and Su Yunying set off for the night market.
Looking at the cage that now resembled hell, an unprecedentedly oppressive and suffocating atmosphere weighed heavily on one's spirit.
The vast world was devoid of any sign of life. What kind of hatred could make everything so absurd?
"About thirty years ago, an evil aura enveloped every corner of the continent. The sun no longer rose, and monsters mutated everywhere due to the blood moon's radiation."
Su Yunying recounted this tragic history to Shen Zhao as they walked.
"The original world of cultivation has now become a hell. We survivors are desperately searching for a place to live in order to survive."
At this point, Su Yunying climbed a small hill, looked at the brightly lit market in the distance, and let out a long sigh.
"That's the black market, and it's the only place we can get food."
Shen Zhao frowned: "The price must be quite high, right?"
Su Yunying nodded: "Since the sun was blocked, the balance of yin and yang has been disrupted, and crops have stopped growing."

"Stay here and don't move. I'll be right back."
Su Yunying gave Shen Zhao a few words of advice before heading towards the rice shop.
Shen Zhao grabbed her hand: "How could you associate with someone like that?"
Su Yunying smiled and said, "Who can move around in the black market without some connections?
