Chapter 255 is Toxic

After realizing what was happening, Huang Xiaosan immediately grabbed Huang Lao Er, saying, "Second Brother, don't go."

“No way,” Huang Lao Er said unhappily, “I can’t let them thank the wrong person.”

That makes perfect sense.

But the premise is that you haven't mistaken the target.

While Huang Xiaosan was inwardly grumbling, he didn't stop talking, "We are the Huang family, except... we can't enter the Jiang family's ancestral tomb."

“Oh right,” Huang Lao Er slapped himself, “I’d completely forgotten about that.”

After a quick glance, Huang Lao Er had an idea. "My cousin is a member of the Jiang family. We can give him the things and let him go."

“You’re really smart,” Huang Xiaosan squeezed out through gritted teeth, “If only you were smart in a normal way.”

Then, he spoke in a sinister tone, "If you're not afraid that our grandpa will break your legs, you can try."

Unrelated people used the Huang family's incense and paper to worship the Jiang family's ancestors, making people think that the Jiang family had all died out.

What's the difference between this and cursing someone to be childless and without descendants?

The second brother dared to do this and still managed to keep both his legs; from then on, he would call the fourth brother "brother."

"Then forget it," Huang Lao Er said, very afraid of Huang Lao Die. "I'm magnanimous and won't hold it against them."

After Huang Lao Er finished speaking, he snorted, turned his head, and strode away.

After Huang Lao Er left, Huang Xiao San slapped himself in frustration, "I really shouldn't associate with idiots, or I'll become an idiot myself."

Thank you. What's the key point?

The most urgent task right now should be to properly discuss the plans for road construction and house building.

Even if things are really bad, we should at least think about how to get started.

They misspoke, and I actually started thinking that way too.

These people... are absolutely toxic!

Thinking of this, Huang Xiaosan immediately felt a chill and found a place far away from Huang Laoer to work.

When Jiang Nuan arrived, she only saw one son and immediately became puzzled, "Second son, where's the third son? You two didn't work together."

"Together, isn't he right here..." Huang Lao Er turned his head, but found that his younger brother was nowhere to be seen.

"Strange, it was just here a moment ago."

“There it is,” Mr. Kim pointed to a corner, “it’s already here.”

When the oxcart arrived, everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at Jiang Nuan expectantly.

There was a lot of food today, several more jars than usual. After sending the portion reserved for Jijia Village over, Jiang Nuan began to arrange for the food to be served.

"One person, half a spoonful of venison, half a spoonful of pork ribs, and one spoonful of chicken. Line up and come one by one."

"Hey, there really is venison!" A grinned happily. "That brat really didn't lie to me."

"It smells so good," she sniffed, her voice filled with delight. "This irresistible aroma of meat! If I had known it was like this, I would have come to work sooner."

Bing's tone was somewhat sour, "I heard those brats get to eat meat every day. If I had known this, I would have come to do the corvée labor."

"Forget it," Ding scoffed. "With your sickly body, you can't even carry a bucket of water, yet you want to do corvée labor? Are you just deliberately holding us back?"

Bing glared and retorted, "Nonsense! How could I not carry a load of water? Back in the day, we could carry a hundred-pound bag of grain on our shoulders, from the fields to home without even taking a break."

“So,” A looked at C curiously, “that’s why you became the gong pot.”

“Who’s the pot?” Bing said angrily. “I’ve told you so many times, I just have a mole on my back, I’m not a pot.”

"What are you two doing?" he said, his face full of disgust. "The air around us is thick with your spittle, I can't even smell the meat anymore."

“Exactly,” Ding chimed in, “you two have completely ruined the strong smell of meat.”

Huang Xiaosan, who was passing by, listened to all of this and hurriedly ran forward as if someone was chasing him.
