Cheng Qicai parked the car in the parking area and locked it.
Gu Rongqi frowned and called out to Cheng Qicai, who had turned around, "How do you lock this?"
Upon hearing his voice, Cheng Qicai leaned closer, as if resting her head on his shoulder.
He seemed to be able to smell the familiar floral fragrance again.
"Here." Cheng Qicai reached out and swiped on his phone for him.
Her fingers, illuminated by the screen light, were as white as scallions. They weren't particularly long and slender, but rather fleshy and soft, looking like they would be easy to pinch.
Gu Rongqi only felt a blur before her eyes, and her hand was withdrawn.
"The first mini-program, just click on it to end the trip," Cheng Qicai told him.
Gu Rongqi silently turned off the car as she instructed.
Hearing the bicycle shut off, Cheng Qicai said to him, "Let's go."
The two bought tickets at the ticket hall and went inside. They arrived late, and although it was a weekday, there were still quite a few people.
They were squeezed tightly into a row.
When Cheng Qicai saw this place, she was reminded of the ancient town she had visited with Ms. Yun and the others last time. This place was much more lively.
The ancient town we visited last time focused on lighting and the environment, but this one is in the city. The space isn't as big as the ancient town, and there are more commercial activities. Plus, it's a weekday now, so it's much more crowded than the ancient town.
When they entered, they received a card for a "collect blessings and check-in" activity. Cheng Qicai looked at it, then turned to him excitedly: "Let's follow the steps on this later, okay?"
Gu Rong nodded, "Okay."
Inside, there were tons of beautiful women and handsome men dressed in Hanfu walking down the street carrying all sorts of lanterns. Cheng Qicai was dazzled by the sight, feeling that everything looked beautiful.
"Hehe, there are so many handsome men and beautiful women." Cheng Qicai murmured, her eyes crinkling with laughter.
“You looked great in that outfit before too,” Gu Rongqi said.
Before hearing Gu Rong mention it, Cheng Qicai immediately remembered that he was referring to the post she had made on her WeChat Moments.
Cheng Qicai had been listening to him talk about WeChat Moments all evening, and found it rather interesting. "I didn't expect you to like looking at WeChat Moments, haha. I thought successful people like you didn't like scrolling through these things."
“No,” Gu Rongqi shook his head in denial. “We are human too, and we also have times when we want to relax.”
Cheng Qicai was engrossed in admiring the handsome men and beautiful women, and nodded vaguely twice.
“If you like, you can wear it and walk around,” Gu Rongqi suddenly said.
“No need then,” Cheng Qicai said, having something to complain about. “You don’t know, last time I went with them, I completely became their photographer. Dressed like this, it was such a hassle to take pictures of them.”
"Not this time."
"Then forget it, it's too much trouble." Cheng Qicai waved her hand. "Hehe, it's more interesting to look at what other people are wearing."
Gu Rongqi raised his hand and pointed to the upper right, "That's the activity area on the card."
"Then?" Cheng Qicai turned her gaze to the direction he was pointing, and stood on tiptoe to look in the direction he was pointing.
Gu Rongqi watched her tiptoe, one foot higher than the other, like a whack-a-mole in a game, popping up in front of him every now and then. He slightly raised his hand.
"Lead the way, I can't see." Cheng Qicai gave up; there were too many people, and she couldn't see clearly.
It's amazing how tall people are; they can see so far.
Cheng Qicai followed in his footsteps to the lantern riddle guessing area. The staff at the booth pushed aside a row of lantern riddles for them to draw.
She rubbed her hands together, determined to draw an easy one.
But when Cheng Qicai saw her own riddle, she was completely bewildered and didn't know what to say.
The riddle she drew was: Four nights (guess a Chinese character).
After racking her brains for a while, she still couldn't figure it out. Frustrated, she spread her riddle in front of Gu Rongqi. "Did you guess it? What's this one I can't figure out?"
Gu Rongqi glanced at it and said directly, "It's Luo."
"Radish? Radish?" Cheng Qicai didn't realize the word he said.
Gu Rongqi explained, "No, it's the four-character 'Xi' when you remove the grass radical."
After Gu Rongqi said that, she realized that "Xi" meant evening, which was indeed Luo.
As expected, a top student is a top student.
"So, did you figure it out?" Cheng Qicai asked.
Gu Rongqi shook his head. "No."
ah?
Cheng Qicai was somewhat surprised; she thought he had already guessed it.
He turned his head to look at Gu Rongqi's riddle, wondering what kind of riddle was so difficult that he couldn't guess it.
The riddle he drew was: Wear a fur coat in the morning and gauze in the afternoon (Guess a three-character small household appliance).
She read it aloud, thought for a moment, and said, "Isn't this just 'hot water heater'?"
"It heats up quickly?" Gu Rongqi didn't understand; he didn't know what kind of appliance had that name.
“It’s normal that you don’t recognize it. It’s just an electric heater that you put in water to heat it up.” Cheng Qicai took out her phone and showed it to him.
It's understandable that Gu Rongqi couldn't answer this question.
This thing is obviously far removed from him, so it's normal that it touched on his blind spot in knowledge.
The two told the staff their answer, which was correct. Each of them received a red string for weaving and collected the first stamp.
The red string is of pretty good quality. I'll get some beads to decorate it when I get back; the effect should be quite nice.
The two then moved on to the next activity – pitch-pot.
She closed one eye, adjusted her posture, and tried to aim at the spout of the kettle.
First throw, miss; adjust posture, second throw, miss; adjust posture again, third throw, miss.
Each arrow landed perfectly on the ground.
A flurry of actions, but the result was a complete failure.
