After watching the night view for a while, Cheng Qicai turned around and leaned against the railing, watching Ren Baiping take pictures of them.
"Do you want to take pictures?" Gu Rongqi's voice wasn't loud in the open environment, but it still reached Cheng Qicai's ears accurately.
"You're going to take the picture?" Cheng Qicai blurted out, then realized her tone was a bit questioning. She explained, "I mean, are you going to let me take the picture?"
Gu Rong nodded: "Mm!"
“…Okay.” Cheng Qicai hesitated for a moment before nodding.
"Then can I stand like this, sideways?" Cheng Qicai asked, getting into position.
As she was being filmed by Gu Rongqi's camera, she felt that her poses were somewhat unnatural, and when she moved, she felt a stiffness in the joints of a puppet.
Gu Rongqi suddenly said, "If I had gone to film the Thousand-Hand Guanyin with them just now..."
Following his words, Cheng Qicai recalled the image she had previously imagined and burst out laughing.
"Okay, is this alright?" Gu Rongqi handed her the photos he had taken with his phone.
Cheng Qicai glanced at it casually, not holding out much hope, but her gaze was immediately drawn to it.
The night view behind her and the streetlights in front of her make her look happy in the photo, as if she is a carefree person.
Cheng Qicai only remembered that she couldn't help but laugh after Gu Rongqi said those words, but she quickly composed herself.
Therefore, this photo could only have been captured in a fleeting moment.
Cheng Qicai looked at the photo carefully and found that the emotions, atmosphere, and angle of the people in it were all captured perfectly.
Compared to his previous photos, this one looks like it was taken by a different person.
Cheng Qicai couldn't help but ask, "Did you go for further studies?"
"I learned a little bit in my spare time," Gu Rongqi said casually. He then asked her, "How was the filming?"
"Super good!" Cheng Qicai felt tears welling up inside when she heard Gu Rongqi say that he had only learned a little bit. She had been filming for so long, but her filming was not as good as his, who had only learned a little bit.
"Really?" Gu Rongqi smiled gently. "You're practically my first model."
He paused for a moment and then said, "I'm glad you like it."
Upon hearing Gu Rongqi's words, Cheng Qicai was taken aback, and a warm feeling seemed to rise up throughout her body, flowing into her heart like a gentle stream.
She coughed lightly, turned around, and looked intently at the city lights. "Haha, I'm quite honored."
“No, I should thank you for letting me practice,” Gu Rongqi walked to her side and looked at the city in the same way she did. “Do you want to take more pictures? Give this newbie a chance.”
Huh? Cheng Qicai was shocked. Gu Rongqi actually knew the word "rookie." It felt like the word came from another dimension when he said it.
"What? Is it strange that I used the word 'newbie'?"
Cheng Qicai touched her nose. "Yes, it does sound a bit like something you would say."
“Cheng Qicai, I’m only in my early twenties,” Gu Rongqi emphasized.
"Okay, I was being narrow-minded." Cheng Qicai laughed, though she didn't know what she was laughing at.
Gu Rongqi pointed to a spot and said, "I think this spot under the streetlight is better for taking pictures, what do you think?"
"It's pretty good." Cheng Qicai agreed, but she didn't know how she ended up agreeing to film it.
Cheng Qicai stood under the streetlight, looking down at Gu Rongqi who was squatting down taking pictures of her. She felt a strange mix of emotions.
Gu Rongqi didn't give her much guidance; he let Cheng Qicai pose on her own. But no matter what pose she struck, Gu Rongqi could always find a good angle to take good photos of her.
Looking at the photos on her phone, she mentally suggested a job for him: becoming a photographer might not be a bad idea.
He's a photographer chosen by heaven! The only problem is, the photographer is more handsome than the model, isn't that okay?
