Everyone has formed a circle.
The host continued, "Okay, now let's invite our newest guests, Mr. Lu and Ms. Yun, to the center of the venue."
Yun Su Ni and Lu Qi walked hand in hand to the middle.
After the host saw them standing in line, he continued, "The band will play music in a moment. Everyone should dance and spin to the music. As soon as the music stops, you can let go and run away. Mr. Lu and Ms. Yun will each grab one of you and bring you up to receive your punishment."
"The punishment will be drawn from the items listed in the box I'm holding," the host said in a low voice. "Is everyone ready?"
The crowd then said in unison, "Ready."
"Then let the music start..." The host gestured for the band to play music.
The rousing music blared from the speakers, the rapid drumbeats pounding against Cheng Qicai's eardrums, making her involuntarily tense up.
She moved with the crowd, her ears perked up, her eyes constantly watching Yun Su Ni and Lu Qi in the middle, afraid that they would turn in front of her when the music stopped.
As it spun, the music suddenly stopped—
Cheng Qicai let go of her hand, but the other end seemed to have a different meaning from what she had expected.
She loosened her grip on one side, but not on the other.
Seeing Yun Suni running towards them and Gu Rongqi holding on tightly, she couldn't help it...
She had no choice but to hold his hand again and pull Gu Rongqi along as they ran.
With the host's announcement, "OK, Ms. Yun and Mr. Lu have caught the person—"
Cheng Qicai stopped in her tracks.
The two stood silently facing each other in the darkness for a moment.
Cheng Qicai glared angrily at Gu Rongqi and demanded, "Why didn't you let go? Do you know we almost got caught?"
Gu Rongqi held up their hands for her to see, and said helplessly, "Qicai, don't slander me."
Cheng Qicai looked at their clasped hands. Gu Rongqi hadn't actually held her hand; instead, she was the one holding his hand tightly.
The way Gu Rong gripped his hand was already somewhat deformed and turned white, which showed how much force he used.
"..." She felt a little embarrassed and silently let go of his hand, only to find that her hand was covered with a thin layer of sweat.
The air was silent for about ten seconds, and the sea breeze blew through her hair.
She suddenly realized that things were not like that. It was clearly Gu Rongqi who was holding her hand and wouldn't let go, and he was in the wrong first. How did it become her fault now?

Gu Rongqi then asked, "There are sparklers over there, do you want to go play with them?"
Not everyone at the party participated in the games; some who weren't interested did other things on the beach, such as taking a walk, setting off fireworks, and building sandcastles.
Cheng Qicai nodded.
The two walked to the table where the fireworks were set off and picked up a few sparklers.
The wind is strong at the beach, making it difficult to light sparklers.
Cheng Qicai watched as the lighter went out several times after being lit, and just as it started to spark, it was blown dark by the wind.
She couldn't help but feel a little disappointed, and said dejectedly, "Forget it, the wind is too strong, it's too difficult to light."
Gu Rongqi didn't say anything. He walked to her side, turned his back to the sea breeze, and used his left hand to cover the tip of the sparkler.
With a "click," the lighter clicked, and a warm yellow flame instantly leaped out. Gu Rongqi brought the flame close to the sparkler.
With a soft "hiss," the sparkler was lit, and the moment he saw the spark, Gu Rongqi quickly moved his left hand away.

Cheng Qicai looked at the sparkler in her hand with delight, waved it twice, and the sparks that burst out seemed to leap into her eyes, sparkling like starlight.

Gu Rongqi stared at her intently, his gaze softening, and the corners of his mouth unconsciously curving upwards.

Cheng Qicai stared blankly at him. The dim light made Gu Rongqi's appearance hazy, like a character in a dream. She wanted to get closer, but she could never see his face clearly.
Cheng Qicai involuntarily took a small step closer to him, wanting to see him more clearly.
"You can take this first. I just took one, and when it goes out, you can refill it from me."
Gu Rongqi's voice rang out softly, like waves in the sea, crashing against the ground again and again.
