Cheng Qicai gritted her teeth inwardly, feeling that even saying it out loud sounded awful.
Gu Rongqi was taken aback by her words. "No need, just call me by my name. I'm not that much older than you."
Cheng Qicai silently called out several times in her heart, "Gu Rongqi, Gu Rongqi..."
How awkward! So awkward! She felt itchy all over as soon as she shouted in her mind, let alone shouting it out in front of Gu Rongqi's face.
There was a sudden muffled thud behind the car.
Gu Rongqi and Cheng Qicai's conversation was interrupted. When they looked back, they saw Gu Liji sitting there, panting heavily.

Cheng Qicai accepted the gifts and was about to get out of the car to go back. She was about to touch the passenger side door handle to open the door when she discovered a bunch of buttons on the door, and she had no idea which one was for opening the door.
She said awkwardly, "Mr. Gu, then I'll get off the car and go home first..."
Gu Rongqi didn't open the door for her, but simply said, "We'll take you back."
Cheng Qicai hesitated for a moment, then nodded and thanked him, "Then I'll have to trouble you, President Gu."
Gu Rongqi glanced at her upon hearing the form of address.
Cheng Qicai realized she had used a respectful term without thinking and smiled at him sheepishly.
