Cheng Qicai was taken aback, not expecting to run into Gu Rongqi here.
But then I thought about it again, and people of their status usually only have a limited number of places to eat, so it's reasonable that we might run into each other.
Unlike his usual formal suit, his beige knitted top today made him look like the smart and gentle older brother next door.

The people with him were his peers, dressed casually, suggesting that he was attending a private party today.
"Mr. Lu, what a coincidence!" Gu Rongqi greeted Lu Qi.
Lu Qi smiled slightly, "It seems that everyone has the same goal."
"Would Mr. Lu please go first?"
Lu Qi didn't stand on ceremony and knocked on the door.
The door to the private room opened, and an impatient voice came from inside, "I told you not to bother me anymore, didn't you hear me?"
"I heard that Mr. Zou is in this private room, so I wanted to come and offer a toast with Mr. Lu." Gu Rongqi smiled gently. "It seems that Mr. Zou doesn't welcome Mr. Lu and me?"
"No, no!" the person at the door immediately said, "We are more than happy to welcome President Gu and President Lu."
He shouted "President Zou!" into the room, but the singing was too loud, and President Zou was still engrossed in singing a love song duet with the beautiful woman.
The person who opened the door smiled at them sheepishly.
Lu Qi pushed open the door that was blocking his way, ignoring his obstruction, and walked straight into the private room. They didn't call out, but simply found a seat and waited for President Zou to start singing.
After the song ended, Zou Lei finally stopped crowing like a rooster, and Lu Qigu Rongqi led the applause.
Zou Lei turned around when he heard the applause and saw a row of people sitting behind him.
When Zou Lei finally saw the person in the middle, cold sweat broke out on his forehead.
"Oh dear, what brings President Lu and President Gu here? Xiao Quan, why didn't you say so earlier?" Zou Lei stepped forward and scolded the person who had opened the door earlier.
Lu Qi smiled and said, "It's not that President Zou was singing so passionately that we couldn't hear it even after searching twice, so we had no choice but to come and listen to it in person."
Gu Rongqi responded with a smile, "President Zou's singing voice is indeed extraordinary!"
"At first glance, I thought it was your wife, but it turns out you have another beauty with you. No wonder you're so enthusiastic; you can't even see us!"
“Huh, Mr. Lu, I didn’t realize it wasn’t Mrs. Zou until you pointed it out.”

The two groups of people came out of Zou Lei's private room.
"Mr. Lu, why don't we all come to our private room for a meal? It'll be more lively with everyone together," Gu Rongqi suggested.
“Come on, Lu Qi, we’re all friends. This is a private gathering, we don’t discuss business,” one of Gu Rongqi’s friends behind him said.
He knew all of Gu Rongqi's friends, and they would chat for a bit when they met.
Lu Qi glanced at Yun Su Ni, then at Cheng Qi Cai and the others. Seeing that they didn't object, he nodded in agreement.
Because of the increased number of people, they moved to a larger private room and ordered a new hot pot.
Cheng Qicai and Wu Jieyu had been engrossed in eating and were about 70-80% full, so their appetite had waned.
The group was talking about fun places abroad, interesting diving spots, and thrilling skydiving destinations.
Yun Su Ni used to travel abroad with her parents during winter and summer vacations and could chat with them, but Cheng Qi Cai and Wu Jie Yu could only stare at each other blankly.
The two chatted secretly downstairs.
"If you ask me, Lu Yuliang is the most unexpected. He gave up joining the company without a word and went to teach at a university in City B."
"No way, my older brother is there to support me at home, so I, with my limited abilities, won't get involved in company affairs," Lu Yuliang said with a smile.
When Wu Jieyu heard that Lu Yuliang was a teacher at B City University, she immediately raised her head.
She looked at him with shining eyes, "You're a university teacher in City B?"
"Yes, I teach foreign literature." Lu Yuliang nodded. "Are you a student at B University?"
"No, teacher, I'm applying for the graduate program in botany at B City University this year. May I ask you some questions?"
"Okay." With permission granted, Wu Jieyu happily walked to Lu Yuliang's side.
Well, Cheng Qicai's chat partner just ran away, leaving her completely all alone.
"No guts!" Cheng Qicai glared at Wu Jieyu.
Wu Jieyu was currently in a state of excitement, while Cheng Qicai's gaze was directed at the blind man.
"I'll let you sit here."
Gu Rongqi was positioned between Lu Yuliang and Lu Qi. To Lu Qi's left was Yun Su Ni, then Cheng Qi Cai, and behind them was Wu Jie Yu.
Gu Rongqi now gives up his seat; he was originally opposite Cheng Qicai, but now he has moved to be next to her.
