Just as Ye Chen was about to pounce on Qin Xiao, a cold and aloof figure stepped in front of Qin Xiao even faster.
Leng Nan.
Her face was icy cold, her eyes sharp like a drawn sword. Without the slightest hesitation, she instantly drew the pistol from her waist, the dark muzzle pointed unwaveringly at Ye Chen's temple.
"If you dare touch him, I'll shoot you dead!"
Leng Nan's voice was cold and resolute, without the slightest emotional fluctuation, as if he were simply stating a fact rather than making a threat.
Enraged, Ye Chen no longer cared about Leng Nan's threats; his eyes were only on Qin Xiao, filled with endless fury and killing intent.
He roared and lashed out like a whip, whistling through the air, striking Leng Nan's wrist that was holding the gun.
"Bang!"
With a muffled thud, Leng Nan felt a sharp pain in his wrist and numbness in his hand. He could no longer hold the gun, and it slipped from his grasp, falling to the ground with a crisp clatter.
Having landed a successful blow, Ye Chen's eyes gleamed even brighter with ferocity. He disregarded everything else and pounced on Qin Xiao like a tiger descending a mountain, carrying the terrifying power of a mid-stage Grandmaster, determined to kill Qin Xiao with a single strike.
His fist, as if cast from steel, carried a terrifying force capable of splitting mountains and shattering rocks, and slammed fiercely into Qin Xiao's chest.
Just when everyone thought Qin Xiao was doomed, Qin Xiao moved.
He remained calm and composed, even sporting a faint smile, standing there as if taking a leisurely stroll, letting Ye Chen's iron fist pound into his chest.

A dull thud resounded, as if striking rotten leather. Ye Chen's fist slammed solidly into Qin Xiao's chest, but it seemed to sink into the sea without causing the slightest ripple.
Ye Chen's sinister smile froze instantly, replaced by disbelief, astonishment, and terror.
How is that possible?
He is a mid-stage Grandmaster, and his full-force strike is enough to shatter stone tablets and split rocks. Even a tank would be blown apart by his punch.

"Snap!"
Spiderweb-like cracks appeared on the walls, demonstrating the terrifying power of that palm strike.
Ye Chen collapsed to the ground like a limp rag, spitting out blood. His internal organs seemed to have shifted, his bones were broken, and his chest had caved in, forming a horrifying depression.
His eyes were unfocused, and he was barely breathing. He struggled a few times, but he didn't even have the strength to stand up. He could only open his mouth wide and gasp for breath like a stranded fish.
"Qin Xiao!"
Ye Chen used his last bit of strength to roar hoarsely, his voice filled with endless resentment and unwillingness.
"I, Ye Chen, will make you pay tenfold for the grudge I've inflicted today!"
After saying this, he could no longer hold on, his vision went black, and he completely lost consciousness.
Qin Xiao slowly withdrew his hand, his expression indifferent, as if he had only done a trivial matter.

Qin Xiao turned around, puzzled.
"What's wrong, Miss Leng?"
"Is there anything else?"
Leng Nan's expression was very unnatural. Her eyes darted away for a moment before she regained her cool demeanor, though a barely perceptible blush crept up her ears.
"You have to fight me."
Her voice still carried the toughness of a soldier, but it had lost some of the previous aloofness and hostility.
Upon hearing this, Qin Xiao chuckled and waved his hand.
"No, no."
"I don't hit girls."
His words carried a hint of teasing, but also a touch of sincerity. Leng Nan, this woman, may seem cold, but her temper is like a firecracker; she could be incredibly wild if she really got into a fight.
Leng Feng, who had been mostly silent, suddenly interjected, his tone carrying the straightforwardness typical of a soldier and the excitement of watching a good show.
