Shu Rou's beautiful peach blossom eyes were strikingly bright, surging with fervor and obsession. Her voice was soft, yet it exploded in Qin Xiao's mind like a thunderclap.
Qin Xiao's breathing almost stopped at that moment.
He himself was a time traveler, so it wasn't surprising that he knew this was a fictional world. But Shu Rou, a native character from the story, also knew? And judging from her demeanor, she seemed to know more and earlier than him?
An unprecedented sense of crisis, even stronger than when facing Ye Chen, instantly gripped his heart.

Qin Xiao's heart sank to the bottom.

She tilted her head, her smile innocent, but her words sent a chill down Qin Xiao's spine: "'Yun Rou' gave me so many wonderful things. For example, incredibly powerful martial arts, pills that can transform a person, and all sorts of heaven-defying physiques... She said that all of these were so that I could better 'correct' this world."
Shu Rou stretched out her finger and gently pointed towards the direction of the living room door, where Long Aobing and Mo Meigui should be confronting her bodyguards.

"Someone like Ye Chen doesn't deserve my personal attention?" Shu Rou's tone was filled with undisguised contempt and disdain. "He's nothing but a clown put forward by the will of this false world. My 'Yun Rou' tells me that the one who can truly change the course of this world's destiny is someone else."
Her gaze, like the thickest honey or the deadliest poison, was fixed on Qin Xiao.
"Qin Baobao, do you know? Ever since I awakened 'Yunrou' and learned the truth about this world, and the true 'destiny' between you and me, I've been thinking about one question."
She finally stood before Qin Xiao, the two so close they could almost feel each other's breath.
