"What, half the power?" Youyou was stunned for a moment.
"Are you really unable to sense it, or are you pretending to be stupid?" His eyes grew colder, and a hint of murderous intent crept in. With a slight flick of his fingers, he instantly summoned a wisp of demonic energy, which flew towards her.
Youyou instinctively wanted to retreat, but saw that the demonic energy only circled around her once before suddenly entering her body, startling her. Upon closer inspection, she discovered that the demonic energy had gathered in her meridians and, after a moment, merged directly with the energy within her body.
"..." What's going on?!
"Do you sense it now?" the demon god sneered, continuing, "That day, while I slept, you destroyed my physical body, forcing my consciousness to be reborn by attaching itself to a lifeless phoenix egg. Although I don't know how you did it, destroying my body before I could even wake up, or what method you used to steal half of my power, but..."
He sat up straight, looked directly at her, and said, word by word, "You killed me once, you owe me a life, how do you plan to repay it?"
