Chapter Nineteen: Help Open the Door

Behind the door were three paths, clearly leading in three different directions. But they were all very deep inside, and just by looking at them, it was impossible to guess where they led.

"I'll go take a look!" Yin Fan still walked in front, cautiously surveying the three passages. Having hunted demonic beasts for many years, he was extremely familiar with terrain. So he carefully examined each passage and discerned the sounds coming from each cave before returning with a somewhat grave expression.

"The aura emanating from these three passages is quite similar, and it's hard to tell which one is the way out." Moreover, it seems that no one has been here for a long time, and there's no trace of anyone who came before. "If I had to choose one, I think I'd choose the one on the right. This one should be closer to where we fell down."

“Young Master Yin is mistaken.” Before You You could speak, Xun Rong objected, “I think we should take the left path.”

Yin Fan's face darkened instantly, and his anger flared up again. "You brat, are you determined to go against me?" Why is it that whatever he says, he opposes it!

Xun Rong took a step back, looking frightened. "Young Master Yin... I only deduced from the terrain and the arrangement of the mechanisms that there should be a wider space on the left, which seems to be the direction of the exit." After saying that, she coughed a series of times, her face flushed and she looked aggrieved. "I know that you have misunderstood me, but I hope that you will still put Miss You's safety first."

"You..." Yin Fan was even angrier. Had he been accused of being willful and reckless again? The resentment in his heart burned brighter and brighter, even burning away his reason. He said recklessly, "I don't believe it. The way on the right is definitely the way out. I'm going to show you today."

"I just recalled what was said in the book and made a guess, thinking it was on the left."

"All these years of hunting experience are no match for your few lousy books. I just think it's on the right. Take it or leave it."

"Alas, if Young Master Yin thinks it's the right side, then it's the right side!" He smiled with a tolerant expression, displaying the kind-hearted and unconcerned demeanor of a gentleman who would rather suffer in silence than hold a grudge.

"..." Damn, why am I even more frustrated? She really is a little bitch, she's so damn infuriating!

"Miss You, where do you want to go?"

"What do you think, young lady?"

Both of them turned to look at Youyou, who hadn't spoken a word in the middle.

"Hmm, it's decided!" Youyou lowered her head and pondered for a moment, then suddenly raised her hand and pointed forward, "Let's go through the middle!"

After saying that, without waiting for the two to react, he walked directly into the middle passage.

Yin Fan: "..."

Xun Rong: "..."

So all that arguing was for nothing!

-_-|||

It wasn't that Youyou didn't trust their judgment, nor was it that she deliberately avoided choosing either option. Rather, she hadn't heard what they were arguing about at all. While they were bickering, she had already pulled up the system map and looked at all three paths. She found that the left and right paths were dead ends, and only the middle one led nowhere.

As expected, the system was right. The further they went, the deeper the passage became, and they even passed through many spacious stone chambers, which were more like grand halls in size. Inside, there were many stone statues, seemingly guarding something.

Yin Fan was initially furious at Xun Rong's sarcastic remarks, but now, seeing the scene he had witnessed along the way, he lost all interest in fighting and his expression tightened. "This place is so strange. I have never seen a place like this before. Everyone should be extra careful..."

Before he could finish speaking, something seemed to have been triggered. A blinding white light shone from the ground, instantly spreading throughout the entire empty stone chamber. For a moment, most of the chamber was filled with this light. He felt a sudden heaviness all over his body, an immense pressure, and he lost his footing, collapsing to his knees with a thud.

"Boss Yin!" You You was startled and instinctively tried to help him up, but then noticed that Xun Rong next to her had also suddenly knelt down, as if he were being suppressed by something. "Xun Rong?"

"I'm fine, you... Huh? Why are you..." Yin Fan looked at You You in surprise, who was completely unharmed. Without thinking, he quickly pushed her away and shouted, "Go away! Don't come any closer! Go away, get out of the range of these white lights."

Youyou was stunned for a moment, "What exactly happened?"

"It should be the Yin-Yang Dual-Pole Formation!" Xun Rong's face turned pale as he struggled to lift his head and said, "We triggered the Yang Formation, so it only works on men." After saying that, he swayed and his face became even paler.

With a thud, Yin Fan was pressed to the ground and couldn't move at all.

"Boss Yin!" You You was a little anxious and tried to pull him up, but found that she couldn't budge him at all. Yin Fan seemed to be stuck to the ground. "What should we do? How can I help you?" What kind of formation is this? She didn't understand it at all.

"Cough cough cough... Since it's an array, there must be a way to break it." Xun Rong looked up and around with a pained expression. "Find the array eye. This array is set up in the very center, and the array eye should be in the Qian position."

What? That's the Northwest!

She turned and ran to the right. Sure enough, in the lower right corner, there was a square stone platform with a Tai Chi symbol carved on it. The white semicircle was emitting a faint light.

“Found it, there’s a diagram on this stone platform.” She answered, touching the stone platform as her fingertips brushed against the black semicircle. The next moment, the other semicircle lit up as well. At the same time, some black mist appeared on the other side of the stone chamber, forming a complete Tai Chi diagram with the white light suppressing Xun Rong and Yin Fan.

The next moment, there were several rumbling sounds, and the surroundings shook. The ground seemed to come alive, slowly moving to both sides, and something rose up in front of them. It looked like a door, completely black and made of some unknown material. It was also covered with many strange symbols, which looked like words or patterns, and it was impossible to tell what they were.
