Chapter Sixty-Two: The Supermarket is Gone

The entire secret realm seemed to have been paused, the collapse halting instantly. The Qilin stood up, slowly opening its eyes, as black as the night sky. Though unfocused, they seemed to be watching everyone, inspiring an immediate urge to prostrate oneself in worship. The next moment, a deep, resonant celestial sound echoed throughout the secret realm, reaching everyone's ears.

"Celestial maidens of the Immortal Realm, thank you for awakening me from my millennia-long slumber. From this day forward, I will dismantle this secret realm and integrate it into the Immortal Realm continent, no longer standing alone. The contents of this hundred-layered secret realm are my gift of goodwill to this world."

After speaking, the enormous phantom of the Qilin in the sky vanished into the horizon as suddenly as it had appeared. The earth-shaking tremors that had just stopped intensified, and the entire ground seemed to be overturned, cracking and folding to reveal... the layer of earth beneath.

Huh?

Youyou was taken aback. Upon closer inspection, it wasn't just the ground; looking through the crack in the sky, it seemed there was another layer of space above. Suddenly, she recalled what Yuan Qi had just said—he seemed to have mentioned… a hundred-layered secret realm?

It turns out this wasn't just a large supermarket, but a multi-story one. These secret realms were all stacked on top of each other; no wonder they didn't see any other celestial maidens or cultivators after they entered—they weren't shopping on the same floor.

Sure enough, as the secret realm collapsed, she saw many cultivators and celestial maidens taking flight on their swords to avoid the earthquake. The entire secret realm was on the verge of complete collapse. At this moment, they felt a tremendous repulsive force, and spiral-shaped exits appeared in the sky above each level.

Before Youyou could react, the transparent sphere enveloping them seemed to possess a mind of its own, instantly flying towards the exit. A blur flashed before their eyes, and the next moment they were back on the open space at the edge of the Moon Sea.

The exit of the secret realm was still wide open, and celestial maidens and cultivators kept flying out in a hurry. The celestial maidens from the major sects were alright, but some of the smaller sects were inevitably covered in dust and looked extremely disheveled. Everyone was shocked and bewildered, staring at the increasingly smaller exit of the secret realm, unable to react.

"What happened? How could the Moon Sea Secret Realm suddenly collapse!"

"Could that phantom just now have been... the Qilin divine beast! This... this secret realm is actually the territory of the gods."

"Wasn't this supposed to be a celestial abode? How did it suddenly turn into a place for gods?!"

"Immortal caves are just legends, but what Tianyin just said might actually be the place where the divine Qilin awakens!"

"No wonder this secret realm is full of spiritual plants, which have been inexhaustible for thousands of years. Apart from some dangerous areas, there are no demonic beasts dwelling there. It turns out that there are gods here."

"The gods said that a celestial maiden awakened him, but no one knows which celestial maiden it was?"

"Yeah, who is it? Will we still be able to enter the Moon Sea Secret Realm in the future?"

"What was the gift that Tianyin mentioned just now?"

Soon, they learned what the gift was, until the last celestial maiden was expelled from the secret realm. The entrance in the sky closed instantly, but the space on the sea surface distorted even more violently, with bulges appearing one after another, as if something was constantly expanding.

"This is... the Moon Sea Secret Realm is about to explode?" Someone suddenly shouted.

The next moment, a loud bang was heard, and sure enough, the bulging space exploded, turning into thousands of rays of light, which scattered in all directions like shooting stars.

A tremendous shockwave spread outwards, causing everyone's expressions to change as they finally remembered to defend themselves. Those who reacted quickly instantly set up defensive formations to block the impact, while those who reacted slowly were directly thrown back by the force of the shockwave.

Youyou was also thrown back a step by the force of the explosion. Just as she was about to fall, her waist suddenly tightened and she felt a warm sensation behind her. Someone caught her waist and helped her back.

"Are you alright, Xiaoyou?" A gentle and refined face suddenly appeared before him, looking at him with a smile.

"Huh?" You You straightened up, glanced at him, and then looked in the direction of the secret realm. "What are you doing here? When did you come out?"

Yuan Qi smiled even more deeply, his eyebrows curving upwards. "I've always been here." He looked up at the direction of the secret realm and reminded him, "This fusion won't stop anytime soon, so be careful not to get too close."

Sure enough, as soon as he finished speaking, another rumbling explosion came from the sky, and one after another burst of light appeared in the sky, like fireworks blooming, shaking the entire world.

"That light... it's from the secret realm!" Finally, someone noticed something and exclaimed, "This is the gift the gods were talking about. They scattered all the treasures from the secret realm to different places."

Everyone was startled, as if they had suddenly realized something. Some people immediately took to their swords and chased after the direction in which the light had disappeared, fearing that if they were too slow, someone else would snatch it away.

Youyou was stunned. It took her a while to realize that the huge free supermarket was gone!

Silently turning her head, she glared resentfully at Yuan Qi. This was truly a money-splurging beast! Such a huge supermarket, blown up just like that! Is this the confidence of a father?

Perhaps sensing her resentment, Yuan Qi turned to look at her, gave his usual gentle smile, and couldn't help but reach out to pat her head, saying in a coaxing tone, "Xiao You, it's a bit dangerous here, shall we leave?"

Youyou then realized that most of the people who had once crowded the open space had left. Most of them had followed the lights; the explosions in the secret realm above hadn't stopped, and staying here was no longer safe.

So he nodded, glanced at Lin Feng, and said, "Alright, let's go back to the sect first. Boss Lin, the spirit boat is with you, right?"

"No need for all that trouble." Yuan Qi smiled at Lin Feng, reached out and plucked a few leaves from a nearby tree. With a wave of his hand, the leaves instantly grew larger, floated down to the feet of the three, and lifted them into the air.

Youyou was surprised. As expected of the gods, their means of transportation were different, and the materials were readily available, making it much more convenient than spirit boats or swords.

The leaves moved incredibly fast, and the group flew off into the distance in a flash, disappearing into the horizon. They were completely unaware of a figure watching them from below.

"Venerable Qiu, should we also set off immediately?" A disciple stepped forward and asked with a bow, his brow furrowed with urgency. "The secret realm collapsed, and we didn't find anything inside. Perhaps now is an opportunity."

Qiu Yue then withdrew his gaze, his brows furrowing deeply. He nodded and said, "Of course we must go. Not only us, but you must immediately send a message back to the sect. Tell all disciples and elders above the Golden Core stage to set off immediately to search for the traces of the secret realm fragments."

"Yes!" The disciple quickly turned and left.

Qiu Yue also summoned his spirit sword and looked back in the direction he had just come from. He was sure he hadn't seen wrong; there was someone else beside that celestial maiden.
