Inside the ward, the walls were all white, and the air was filled with the smell of disinfectant. It was cold and made one feel no warmth at all.
The room was unusually quiet, with only the occasional beeping of instruments.
With a creak, the doorknob turned and the ward door was pushed open from the outside.
Wearing a white lab coat, Ye Jinyu walked in quickly, her hair slightly disheveled and her breath coming in short gasps.
Her usually indifferent gaze held an unusual hint of evasion as she glanced at Xiao Wujie, who lay unconscious on the hospital bed, before looking at Chu Liyue, who was standing guard beside the bed, and spoke with lowered eyes.
"How is the situation?"
"As you can see, he is still alive."
Chu Liyue sat on the chair with her arms crossed and her long legs crossed, her gaze towards Ye Jinyu cold and devoid of any warmth.
After a brief silence, Ye Jinyu walked to the bedside and looked at Xiao Wujie, whose eyes were closed on the bed.
His face was deathly pale, devoid of any color, and his brows were furrowed with illness.
Despite being in a coma, his furrowed brows still betrayed the torment and exhaustion brought on by the illness, a pain that lingered.
He gently lifted his tightly closed eyelids with his fingers, performed some simple physical examinations, and then spoke in a deep voice.
"That medicine was carefully prepared by me. It won't cause any harm to his body. It's just that his physical strength and mental energy have been temporarily depleted. He'll wake up later!"
The delicate high heels tapped on the ground with a "tap".
The next instant, accompanied by an icy chill, Chu Liyue arrived in front of Ye Jinyu and grabbed him by the collar.

"Ye Jinyu, do you think I don't know what you're thinking?"
The pressure on her arm tightened again, and Chu Liyue's voice was so cold it could shards of ice.
"elder sister……"
Perhaps their commotion disturbed the unconscious Xiao Wujie, whose brows were slightly furrowed and who unconsciously groaned softly.

After saying that, Chu Liyue threw Ye Jinyu against the wall, walked quickly to the bedside and sat down, covered Xiao Wujie's ears with her hands, and placed delicate kisses on his cheeks.

After saying that, he immediately turned to leave. Just as he was about to push open the door, Chu Liyue's cold voice made him pause slightly.

He paused for a moment, then walked out without turning his head.
With a cold look away, Chu Liyue turned her gaze back to Xiao Wujie, who was lying unconscious on the hospital bed. She gently stroked his face with her fingers, and with a slight flicker in her eyes, she couldn't help but sigh softly.

His pale skin was now covered in a frightening red, the veins on his forehead and neck were bulging, and his eyes, no longer clear as usual, were filled with seductive lust, turning a deep crimson.
