Chu Wan lay on the hospital bed, having fallen asleep sometime earlier, her brows furrowed, her hair damp with sweat.
Her slender fingers unconsciously gripped the white sheets tightly, her bony knuckles almost snapping.
The next second, she suddenly sat up, her bloodshot eyes trembling, and subconsciously looked at the hospital bed.
Her trembling gaze fell upon the boy on the hospital bed, who seemed to be sleeping peacefully, and instantly focused on him.
She stared at him motionless for a moment before the trembling in her eyes gradually subsided, and she regained some of her spirit.
However, the slight rise and fall of her chest and her somewhat disordered breathing still betrayed some of her emotions at that moment.
Staring intently at Yunmo, who lay on the bed, pale-faced and barely breathing, a hint of disorientation gradually appeared on her delicate face.

Back at the manor, everything seemed to return to normal.
He loved to tease Lu Zhufeng. Once, after being teased by Lu Zhufeng, he suddenly hid behind him, innocently saying that he was scared.
Yunmo was short, only reaching about shoulder height. He hid behind her, his bright, innocent eyes looking at her like a harmless child, which made her inexplicably not turn away.
The image of Chu Liyue coaxing Xiao Wujie flashed through her mind, and she stiffly imitated Chu Liyue by gently rubbing his head.
Since then, he would often try to talk to her, but she was always quiet and didn't know how to chat; she would shut up after only three sentences.
