If he hadn't forcibly injected her with nutrient solution, she probably wouldn't have been able to hold on.
What he wanted was to shatter all her pride, to make her unable to muster even the slightest thought of resistance, and to experience that ultimate desire for conquest.
But her uncooperative and defiant attitude only fueled his anger, making him grit his teeth in hatred.
What is it about him that makes this bitch so unworthy of his attention? So many women are eager to be with him, but he doesn't care about any of them. Yet this bitch is the only one he's expended so much energy on, using both soft and hard tactics, but she remains steadfastly defiant.
"You bitch, are you deaf?"
He gripped Lin Qingyi's slender neck tightly with his fingers and couldn't help but roar.
As he tightened his grip, the veins on Lin Qingyi's forehead bulged, and she struggled to breathe. Yet, she kept her eyes fixed elsewhere, refusing to look at him or listen to his words.
With bloodshot eyes and seeing Lin Qingyi's pale face and shattered pupils, Vito Rosso, looking like a madman, loosened his grip slightly.
With his back teeth clenched, he looked at Lin Qingyi, who was breathing heavily, and suddenly lowered his head, sticking out his tongue to lick her fair cheek.
Lin Qingyi, sitting in the chair, trembled violently as if she had been electrocuted. Without hesitation, she lunged at Vito Rosso's front teeth, but he blocked her attack.
He pulled his tongue back into his mouth and gently stirred it around. His eyes were slightly narrowed, as if he were savoring the memory. Looking at Lin Qingyi's broken eyes, which were filled with tears and grief, he couldn't help but let out a wicked laugh.
Her fingers pinched her chin, her voice distorted:
"You bitch, do you think I don't know what you're thinking?"
"Aren't you happy that you've come chasing after this pretty boy who's always following you around?"
"I know you're happy even if you don't say it. I'll turn him into Deadpool right in front of you, and then get back Reagent Number Three—"
"I'll show you how tough your shamelessness really is after all these nights of revelry."
Seeing Lin Qingyi about to bite the hand that was gripping her chin again, he was filled with rage and slapped her without hesitation.
He then gave a sinister smile, slammed the door, and left.
Stray hairs on her forehead obscured her pretty face, and a smear of blood spilled from the corner of Lin Qingyi's mouth.
Her slender, frail body trembled slightly as she clenched her teeth, trying to hold back the tears welling in her eyes.
She didn't know how much time had passed when the wind lifted the stray hairs that were covering her forehead, and she silently stared at her white wrist with somewhat broken eyes.
There, a faint silver symbol was emitting intermittent glimmers of light...
