While driving, Lu Zhufeng caught a glimpse of the screen on his phone and was so startled that his hand trembled and he almost lost control of the steering wheel.
Chu Liyue was sitting next to him, and he could clearly feel the pressure around her suddenly drop, and a terrifying aura spread throughout the car.

Chu Liyue silently turned off her phone. Lu Zhufeng looked at her through the rearview mirror, his forehead covered in cold sweat.
If he had known this would happen, he would never have let Xiao Wujie go, even if it meant his death.
He gritted his teeth and said with difficulty, "Miss Chu..."
"I know it wasn't him."
Chu Liyue crossed her arms and looked out the window, speaking coldly.
"Huh?" Lu Zhufeng didn't react at first.
Chu Liyue lowered her eyes and said coldly, "There is no ring on your hand, nor is there any trace of you wearing a ring."
She was extremely intelligent and meticulous; when watching the video, she zoomed in on the screen, not missing a single detail.

"I know it's not you," Chu Liyue interrupted coldly. "Where are you now?"
"Yes, on the way to Haijing Bay, Gu Junci's younger brother was detained. She asked to see him via video, and he agreed. The agreed time and place was 8 pm at Haijing Bay."
On the other end of the phone, Xiao Wujie explained in a low voice.
Chu Liyue silently tightened her grip on her phone and asked, "What are you wearing?"
Xiao Wujie seemed to be taken aback for a moment, then quickly said, "Down jacket, there's air conditioning in the car, it's not cold."

The sound of windshield wipers swaying came from both sides of the phone at the same time, like the slow turning of a clock hand.
The two red dots on Lu Zhufeng's phone screen got closer and closer until they overlapped.

The snow was falling heavily outside the window, but Chu Liyue could still clearly see a black dot in the vast white snow, rapidly approaching her.
She opened the car door, got out, and sat in the back seat.
