Lu Zhufeng thought to himself, "You're the coward, your whole family are cowards," but on the surface he smiled flatteringly.
"We subordinates are on tenterhooks, and our superiors have their own difficulties. I would like to ask, if I may be so bold as to ask, which superior was summoned this time?"
"So that I can be mentally prepared."
The officer glanced at him sideways and saw that he spoke fluently and his eyes darted around; he was clearly a prime candidate to be a lackey.
A strange look appeared in his eyes, and he suddenly replied, "Your grandfather."
Lu Zhufeng was stunned for a moment.
The officer seemed quite pleased with his reaction and chuckled, "This officer's surname is Ni, and he calls himself Grandpa, so isn't he Grandpa Ni?"
Lu Zhufeng felt like a million grass mud horses were galloping through his mind, thinking that this damned superior was even more shameless than him.
But then I felt something was off. Could it really be such a coincidence?
On the surface, he could only manage a forced laugh: "This... the commander's name is indeed unique, quite remarkable."
Commander Gao cursed inwardly at this arrogant bigwig for going too far, but he couldn't say it aloud in front of his subordinates. Instead, he casually asked Lu Zhufeng:

Commander Gao gave him a strange look. Why did this old guy become so timid and hesitant when his name was mentioned?

There was no further conversation. Soon, Commander Gao led Lu Zhufeng to a room on the top floor, knocked lightly on the door to indicate that the person he was looking for had been brought, and then turned and left.
Lu Zhufeng remained alone, his gaze inward, he took a light breath, and pushed open the door to enter.
