Chapter 416 Yun Mowan completes the process

Chu Wan sensed that something was wrong with Yun Mo.

In the past, when he slept, he would snuggle into her arms and fall into a deep sleep in no time.

She has to get up early for work in the morning, and when she opens her eyes and sees Yunmo, so small, nestled close to her, her heart melts involuntarily.

She never imagined that she and the little dumpling in her arms would come to this point.

She has a cold personality and is always oblivious to feelings. Leng Ruxue once asked her when she fell in love with Yunmo, but she couldn't say.

It could be a fleeting moment of attraction at first sight during an absurd encounter; it could be the quiet companionship of a seemingly mundane daily life where she remains silent; or it could be him risking his life to shield her from a bullet and sustaining serious injuries.

She couldn't pinpoint the exact time, only knowing that by the time she realized it, his small figure was already deeply embedded in her heart, firmly occupying that softest spot.

Ultimately, it became an indispensable part of her life.

Yunmo doesn't know how to date, and neither does she.

Yunmo's guiding light in life is Xiao Wujie, and her salvation from the abyss is Chu Liyue.

Therefore, Xiao Wujie and Chu Liyue became their role models.

There's a reason why Yunmo became Xiao Wujie's apprentice; his personality is very similar to Xiao Wujie's—gentle and delicate.

The reason she was groomed by Chu Liyue as her successor was because of her inherently aloof and indifferent nature.

Among the crowd around them, only they perfectly matched and continued the reversed relationship between Chu Liyue and Xiao Wujie.

Leng Ruxue didn't dare to question Chu Liyue, but she did mention it to her. She felt that Chu Liyue had spoiled Yunmo too much and that it was necessary to train Yunmo to be more proactive and assertive.

She knew that Leng Ruxue's intentions were good, but she still wanted to ask in return, "Isn't Chu Nanfeng also spoiling you like this?"

It's all love, just expressed in different ways, so why can't it be?

But she felt that Leng Ruxue had more dating experience than her, so she didn't say it out loud.

She didn't say it, she couldn't say it; it was a part of her personality that she couldn't change.

She kept her love to herself, unable to express it verbally, so the tongue-tied girl could only express her silent love through all her actions.

She doesn't know how to date, but she's willing to learn.

She learned everything except how to express love verbally.

Yunmo asked her why she was more affectionate than him. She secretly watched videos to learn, and even summarized the key points into a thick stack of notes.

She was smart and observant, so of course she could see Yunmo's inner turmoil.

Unfortunately, she couldn't express herself and didn't know how to comfort him, so she quietly accompanied him, slowly and deliberately appreciating the scenery along the way.

Seeing Lu Zhufeng and Ai Ruoman's wedding, Yun Mo wasn't the only one in a daze.

She preferred to work hard quietly and didn't like to envy others, but when she saw Ai Ruoman in a wedding dress walking down the aisle amidst everyone's blessings, she felt envious.

She really wanted to tell Yunmo that she didn't care about his appearance or other people's opinions; all she cared about was him.

She even thought that she could take the initiative to propose to Yunmo; she was willing.

But she didn't know how to express it.

When Yunmo showed her those photos, she couldn't quite describe how she felt.

They've been together for three years, and they're old enough to be open to thinking about that kind of thing.

But Yunmo never mentioned it to her...

She thought that she probably hadn't done enough and hadn't given Yunmo enough sense of security.

Yunmo was different tonight. He lay motionless in her arms, but his uneven breathing and the clumps of eyelashes brushing against her skin proved that he was not asleep at all.

She patted his back for a while, but he still didn't sleep or say anything.

She was about to look down and ask him why when she met his star-like, brilliant eyes. He said:

"Sister Wan, I want to marry you."

In the dim light of the bedside lamp, Chu Wan froze, her gaze fixed on Yun Mo's face.

When Yunmo was stared at like that, he instinctively wanted to look away.

But only for a moment, he raised his head again, his eyelashes trembling slightly, but the light in his eyes did not dissipate, but instead became even brighter, as he looked into her eyes.

He took a deep breath and said, "Sister Wan, let's get married too, okay?"

His voice was as soft as a feather falling to the ground, yet every word reached Chu Wan's ears, stirring up a surging tide in her heart.

His eyes were brighter than ever before, like a burning fire, and the inexplicable sense of loss in Chu Wan's heart melted into ashes like a strand of hair.

The two kissed without realizing it.

Under the covers, Chu Wan hooked one arm around Yun Mo's waist and gently rubbed his head with the other. In the intervals between deep kisses, she slightly lifted her eyelids. Yun Mo closed his eyes, his small mouth half-open, his arms around her neck, kissing her earnestly.

His passionate expression was alluring; his porcelain-white face was flushed, and his eyelashes trembled slightly, filled with endless shyness and anticipation. His small mouth, under her rapid onslaught, had no room to resist.

Like a kitten, innocent and charming.

His body trembled slightly as Chu Wan kissed him, and the faint milky scent wafted into Chu Wan's nose. Chu Wan's eyes flickered, and she gently stroked his slightly arched back with her palm before closing her eyes and kissing him.

After a long while, when their lips parted suddenly, Yunmo blushed all over, like a boiled shrimp.

A strand of silver hair remained at the corner of his mouth, he was breathing heavily, and his eyes were filled with a jumble of tears.

He shifted uncomfortably, his cheeks flushed crimson, and he grabbed Chu Wan's hand, tucking it under the covers, his voice trembling with embarrassment:

"Wan... Sister, I feel... so uncomfortable."

This wasn't the first time she had helped him relieve his discomfort on their first night; each time, she made him crave more and feel a surge of desire.

But Chu Wan suddenly pulled her hand away, which startled Yun Mo.
