The sky was so clear it looked like it had been washed clean, and a few thin white clouds, as if melted by the sunlight, floated slowly in the wind.
Under the parasol, Xiao Wujie slumped in the seat, his long legs covered with a small white blanket, and he was wearing Chu Liyue's suit jacket.
Chu Liyue was only slightly shorter than him. He was slender, and Chu Liyue's coat fit him perfectly.
"Baby, your figure is so enviable." Beside her, Bai Jingxuan held a wooden clip in her delicate fingers, poured flower tea, and looked at Xiao Wujie with admiration.
At her age, it feels like she's gaining weight just by breathing, and maintaining her figure is a very painful thing.
Xiao Wujie fiddled with the buttons on his coat, inhaling the intoxicating scent of roses. He paused for a moment upon hearing Bai Jingxuan's words, then asked softly:
"Aunt Jing, do girls all like a figure like mine?"
Bai Jingxuan's wisps of hair danced lightly in the wind, her gaze filled with envy as she nodded repeatedly.
She has a tall and slender figure, and her waist is so small that you could wrap your arms around it with one hand.
Aside from being a little flat, it's practically perfect.
Xiao Wujie's eyes lit up.
That bumpkin Lao Lu called him a greyhound; he really has no taste.
He needs to keep it up; his sister will definitely like it too.
"Um... honey, but you're a boy, you should gain some weight, you're too thin."
Seeing Xiao Wujie's somewhat childish and smug expression, Bai Jingxuan's eyes twitched slightly, and she tentatively offered a reminder.
Xiao Wujie's eyes flickered, understanding her meaning, but he remained steadfast in his original thought.
He can't get fat, otherwise his sister won't be able to carry him.
That's absolutely unacceptable.
"What are you talking about?" a low, cold voice came from behind.
Chu Liyue's slender figure appeared in front of Xiao Wujie, and she walked over.
She wore a white short-sleeved shirt that tucked into loose casual pants. One hand was casually in her pocket, while the other held a tennis racket. The fine strings on the racket reflected a silvery light in the sunlight, outlining a cool and edgy silhouette around her.
Under Xiao Wujie's bright gaze, she casually put down her racket, bent her long legs, and half-squatted in front of Xiao Wujie.
A few beads of sweat clung to her face, as clear and translucent as dewdrops on flower petals in the morning. Her skin, moisturized by the sweat, was as white and delicate as a freshly peeled egg.
Xiao Wujie's lips curved gently, his eyes glistening with a lovestruck glint. He lightly wiped the sweat from Chu Liyue's face with his delicate fingertips and asked in a soft voice, "Did you beat Old Lu, sister?"
The coldness of his hands made Chu Liyue frown slightly. She took his hand, cupped it in her palm, and gently rubbed it.
"You think I can't beat him?"
Xiao Wujie knew that Lu Zhufeng was an exceptionally skilled ball player, but he still shook his head.
Chu Liyue smiled slightly and breathed warm air on his hand.
"You have that much confidence in me?"
The heat flowed down his cool palms, and Xiao Wujie nodded, his cheeks slightly flushed.
Chu Liyue smiled slightly, her eyes crinkling at the corners. She affectionately tickled his palm with her fingers. "His ball skills are better than mine. He didn't win."
"He's pretty fierce. I thought his hands would have deteriorated a lot after he had Sister Man..." Xiao Wujie muttered to himself.
Chu Liyue raised an eyebrow slightly, raised her hand and lightly flicked his forehead, Xiao Wujie cried out in pain.
Bai Jingxuan sat casually and elegantly to the side, a gentle smile on her face. She poured out a cup of freshly brewed flower tea and pushed it in front of Chu Liyue.
"Liyue, try your mother's cooking."
As she spoke, she reminded Xiao Wujie, "Baby, Aunt Jing won't pour you any more. Xiao Ye told you that you've been taking a lot of medicine and shouldn't drink tea."
Chu Liyue picked up the delicate little cup, took a sip, and looked up to meet Xiao Wujie's flashing gaze.
"Sister, I want some." Xiao Wujie stared intently at the cup, leaning closer to the rim. "Just one sip."
Chu Liyue blew on the slightly hot tea and brought the cup to his lips.
Xiao Wujie took a sip and found it delicious. He unconsciously took two more sips, and the tea in the cup was instantly emptied.
When he looked up, he met Chu Liyue's ambiguous gaze, and Xiao Wujie instinctively shrank back.
Chu Liyue raised an eyebrow slightly, lightly rubbing the rim of the cup with her fingertips, and asked, "Is it that delicious?"
Xiao Wujie nodded. The jasmine tea had a pleasant fragrance and a delicate flavor, which he liked very much.
Chu Liyue's gaze fell on his face, and she suddenly said, "I'll try it again."
She casually placed the cup on the table, pinched Xiao Wujie's chin, and covered his thin lips, which were wet with water droplets, with her full lips. She licked them lightly, and then rolled her tongue into his mouth to savor them.
After a moment, she released her lips, pinched Xiao Wujie's flushed face, and smiled: "Indeed, not bad."
Embarrassed, Xiao Wujie lowered his head and snuggled into her arms, his voice low and hoarse: "Sister, Aunt Jing is still here."
Chu Liyue picked him up and walked away, her voice indifferent: "Her eyesight is failing; the closer she gets, the less she can see."
Bai Jingxuan's eyes twitched slightly. "Daughter, I don't have blurred vision, but I wish I could go deaf right now."
Xiao Wujie, held in Chu Liyue's arms, twisted his body slightly and said, "Sister, I can walk."
Chu Liyue gently lifted him up, and Xiao Wujie instinctively shrank back, pressing himself tightly against her and wrapping his arms around her neck.
Chu Liyue's hair fluttered in the wind, her tone languid and indulgent: "Am I uncomfortable holding you?"
Xiao Wujie gently blew on Chu Liyue's hair, letting it fly longer, and murmured, "While I can still walk, I want to walk more."
Chu Liyue felt a dull ache in her heart, tightened her grip, and walked more steadily and quickly.
In Bai Jingxuan's flower room on the top floor, sunlight streams in through the windows, filling the air with a sweet fragrance and warmth.
Bai Jingxuan walked in carrying a tray with exquisite dishes on it.
Seeing Xiao Wujie lying on Chu Liyue's lap, asleep with his eyes closed, he moved even more quietly.
