"Is that...is that Senior Brother?!"
"Keep your voice down." Yang Wennan covered her mouth, and only felt relieved when he saw that the magic zither was floating next to Wen Jingge.
"Until you find a suitable sword, Gou Chen will let you have it first."
The sword has a spirit, and unless the sword itself likes him, Wen Jinge himself cannot transfer it during his lifetime.
A good sword depends on both its spirit and the user.
"Senior brother." Wang Xi tugged at his shoulder, pressing him down a bit before saying, "Let me tell you, our Qianyan clan has plenty of precious swords. I'll help you find some later."
"good."
Yang Wennan was in a good mood, but his brows were furrowed. It wasn't that he was being hypocritical; rather, it was because his senior brother had been standing facing the stone wall for quite some time.
Wang Xi looked at the bracelet on her hand with a puzzled expression. This time, it wasn't lit up; it was flashing.
Something terrible must have happened to Liang Si, but Liang Si was right in front of them, standing perfectly still, as if she were facing a wall.
"Master..."
"Go and take a look!" Wen Jingge patted the two children's heads and took the lead herself. "If anything goes wrong, have Gou Chen lead you away. It understands."
"Yes, disciple will protect junior sister."
Wen Jingge was very pleased that Yang Wennan, like Liang Si, had a personality that made her feel at ease.
"Sisi," Wen Jingge called out to the person in front.
Liang Si didn't move, as if she were deaf.
Wen Jingge stood there and watched him for a while without moving. Then, she squatted down.
On the ground, two dense black lines meandered through the grass, coming down from the stone wall in front.
The black line connected to Liang Si's toes and disappeared beneath his feet.
Wen Jingge looked uncertainly at her hand, then reached out and snapped the black thread in half.
Liang Si swayed, her pale face turned even paler, her eyes widened, but her gaze was lifeless, as if she had lost her soul.
In an instant, a drop of blood flowed from his nose.
The blood didn't fall into the grass; the black lines quickly circled it, and slowly, the blood disappeared.
Wen Jingge withdrew her hand, and the bleeding slowly stopped.
Insidious, that was Wen Jingge's first thought.
These black lines cannot be cut; if they are severed, Liang Si will likely die on the spot.
However, judging from the amount of bloodshed, Liang Si was already exhausted and on his deathbed.
Is there really no way to save her eldest disciple?
In "Heavenly Pulse Sword God", she was at least a villain, but somehow she became the beloved member of the Xuan Yun Sect.
She accepted the other disciples even though they weren't mentioned in the book. Even if something happened to Liang Si, it shouldn't have happened here!
Something's not right!
She laid Liang Si's body down on the ground and instructed the two disciples not far away, "Don't come over. Just stay where you are and watch over Si Si. I'm going in for a bit."
Liang Si's appearance suggests that her soul has entered the stone wall, but her body remains outside. Furthermore, since her eyes are still open, she must have seen something here.
Instead of directly confronting the rocks, she half-embraced Liang Si. The black lines seemed to have discovered something more nutritious and swarmed towards Wen Jinge.
Wen Jingge obediently lay down on the ground, relaxed her body, and let them come up to her.
This feeling was not pleasant. Although it was just a shadow on the ground, it felt like thousands of ants were crawling on my body when it bit me.
But it's okay, her efforts were not in vain.
In the last glimmer of light, she saw that the stone in Wang Xi's hand was just shining and no longer flashing, and she finally understood what Liang Si had seen.
Another version of yourself.
Another Liang Si.
And another Qiao Yu.
"Is this a trick of the three-legged golden crow?" Wen Jingge's soul left his body and slowly walked towards the stone wall, where a door could be seen in his soul form.
Perhaps she had forgotten many things, which is why she couldn't see through such a simple mechanism.
"You're here?" Qiao Yu's voice was very soft. In the blink of an eye, Wen Jingge seemed to have been floating for a long time before Qiao Yu appeared in the water. "Master, why do you hate me so much!"
Wen Jingge: "Didn't I tell you? Are you stupid?!"
Wen Jingge said the above, but she suddenly realized that there was another Wen Jingge beside her.
"Why? Tell me why! Your talent is too great! I'm jealous! Your heart is too kind, you're not suited to live on Ten Thousand Zhang Peak! You're too stupid, you don't deserve to be my disciple!"
Wen Jingge, standing beside him, spoke in a hurried manner, as if someone was chasing him from behind, a style very unlike Wen Jingge.
The expression on her face, well, she didn't look like her at all, and she did resemble Shan Hongxing somewhat, both of them icy.
His eyes were cold and lifeless, unlike a human; he seemed more like a drunkard in a formless illusion, a spirit inhabiting a formless realm.
Qiao Yu's face stiffened, revealing a bitter smile. He slowly raised his head, and Wen Jingge followed his gaze upwards.
The water rippled, and two nearly transparent black threads fell from the sky, piercing through her collarbone and hanging on Qiao Yu's body.
"Master, why are you so cruel?"
"I'm not heartless," Wen Jingge continued to mutter to herself.
She knew she wasn't saying this to herself, but to another Wen Jingge who was nearby, but she just wanted to be a commenter.
“I’m not heartless!” Wen Jingge beside her said. “If I were heartless, do you think you could become my disciple? Do you think it’s so easy to enter the gates of Wanzhang Peak?”
"Master himself is nothing but a hypocrite, a sanctimonious man!" Qiao Yu cursed her, a hint of sorrow in her smile, as if she knew her days were numbered and was now finding relief. "Master! You will surely die a horrible death!"
Wen Jingge looked at herself beside her, her expression unchanged, like a statue.
Just as Wen Jingge thought it was a mannequin and was about to poke it to see if it was a wax figure, she suddenly moved.
