The man's arm, from which flesh had been cut, slowly recovered; the area where flesh had been missing quickly stopped bleeding and a new piece of flesh rapidly grew back.
The wound disappeared, as if the piece of flesh on the ground was merely an illusion, and not actually cut from his body.
"You actually knew that!" The beastly glint in the man's eyes intensified. "You know where I came from..."
Wen Jingge kicked him, her emotions somewhat out of control. She laughed loudly for a while, then looked at the astonished man and quickly reverted to her inscrutable demeanor, as if she hadn't been the one beating him earlier.
His tone was cold, his attitude distant, and he never smiled; he perfectly embodied the image of a reclusive sage. "Speak!"
"I came from heaven..."
Liang Si learned to answer questions quickly, even though she didn't understand why, she just did it.
As Thor's hammer descended, the man shuddered, becoming more energetic with each shock, and exhaled white smoke. Lu Wei frowned and remained silent, his gaze lingering on the little girl.
"Plane crash?"
"You could say that."
"Airplane! I'll let you fly!"

Wen Jingge seemed off, and Lu Wei noticed. He figured she'd vented enough before leading her aside and stepping in himself: "The people upstairs?"
“Up there…” Liang Si subconsciously looked up at the sky, then at his master. He really didn’t care at all, and he was no longer flustered.
"Hmm... up there." The man pointed to the meat on the ground, his gaze deep as he looked at Lu Wei's soul. "Eat it, and you will gain a physical body."
"A physical body?" Lu Wei looked at Wen Jingge again. Did he really need this? "This chicken also ate your flesh?"
"Yes." The man smiled smugly, only to receive another punch to the face.
"In this life, what I hate most are you gods in the sky. I didn't go looking for you, but you came to me on your own."
