"So the only way to get into the village is to climb over. For the child's safety, I suggest I carry him. I'm familiar with this route and it's a safe spot."
"Or you can go back to town and wait. This road will be open in about ten days. It won't be too late to come back then."
The couple looked at each other, somewhat undecided. Such a high pile of rubble was frightening to look at.
Can this really be allowed to go?!
"Little brother, are you sure you can get through safely?"
The man swallowed and asked uncertainly.
"What's there to be sure of? Let me tell you this: it's as easy as walking on flat ground."
Jiang Che said lightly.
The man twitched his face, feeling that the young man in front of him was talking nonsense.
But there is nothing else to consider now. Now that they have come this far, they are eager to know the answer.

After some thought, the man finally made up his mind.
"Okay, thank you for your help, little brother. I will leave my daughter in your care for the time being."

The two nodded nervously, and then Jiang Che reached out and took the little girl from the man.
Only after looking closely did Jiang Che realize that the little girl was really cute!
She has a rosy little face and a bun on her head, just like a porcelain doll.
But when Jiang Che looked into the little girl's eyes, he was stunned.
The little girl didn't seem to be looking at him at all. What was going on? She was picking her fingers and playing with them.
"What's your name, little one?"
Jiang Che asked softly.
But the little girl still didn't react.
Jiang Che understood a little and looked at the couple.
"Sir and Madam, could it be that your daughter is...?"
The couple nodded bitterly: "Yes, Nian Nian is a child from the stars."
