Chapter 18: Ten Times the Speed of Time

The early morning sunlight pierced through the mist in the mountains and fell on Jiang Che through the window, instantly covering him with a golden gauze dress.

Jiang Che slept very soundly. The croaking of frogs at night was the most beautiful lullaby for the people living in the mountains.

How can you hear such vibrant frog croaking in the city? As soon as the sun comes out, the cicadas in the woods outside the house begin to chirp desperately.

The neighing sound interrupted Jiang Che's sweet dream. Rubbing his eyes, Jiang Che woke up with a yawn.

After drinking the spiritual water for a few days, Jiang Che felt that his body was in great shape, and even his spirits were much better.

When I woke up, I didn’t feel groggy as before. I just felt refreshed, and breathing the fresh air in the countryside was even more relaxing.

Looking at his arms, Jiang Che smiled bitterly. He had become a pretty boy overnight. However, the sun in the countryside was too strong, and he would probably recover after a few days of sun exposure.

After a night, it was time to go to the space to see raspberries and jade dew. I wonder what they have become.

Lying back on the bed, Jiang Che closed his eyes and entered the space.

As soon as he came in, Jiang Che almost tripped over something. When he looked carefully, he saw that the bare black soil was covered with green branches.

This is clearly the raspberry branch that was delivered last night. Isn't this too fast?! Jiang Che was a little confused. In just one night, it grew like this?

Moreover, many flower buds have emerged on the branches, which is interesting. Jiang Che was originally worried that the resurrected raspberries would miss the maturity period, but now, with the space, they have just caught up with the fruit-bearing season.

Raspberry has a very strong vitality. Now that we have so many branches, we can grow a large number of seedlings through cuttings.

But we have to wait for a while. Jiang Che is more interested in seeing what Yu Lu has become.

Jiang Che pulled apart the raspberry branches and leaves, and only then did he see the kaleidoscope jade dew hidden behind the branches.

Because I really didn't expect last night that they would grow so fast. The planting distance was a little close. The magic of space was beyond my imagination. Just an experiment gave me such a big surprise.

Jiang Che was even more surprised by Yu Lu's changes. Her height didn't change much, but the old pile underneath had grown taller. The crooked pile that was supporting Yu Lu was now as tall as her calf.

There is also a fork on the side, on which there is also a small bud of jade. It is well known that jade grows slowly, and the most taboo thing about jade is excessive growth.

However, the jade dew planted in the space did not seem to grow, but instead became taller. If the situation continues to develop, Jiang Che doubts whether he will be able to harvest a jade dew tree in the future!

After watching for a while and finding that Yu Lu was fine, Jiang Che started to get busy and pulled up the raspberries by the roots.

In the space, Jiang Che found himself like a god. With just a thought, the land would automatically separate, and the roots and branches of the raspberries could all be used for reproduction.

Jiang Che treated it as breeding. He would have to transplant the raspberries to the outside world anyway, so he simply cut the raspberries into five pieces and specially marked out an area to plant them.

Keep it far away from the Jade Dew to avoid affecting its growth. Jiang Che is quite looking forward to seeing that the Jade Dew has such characteristics.

After working for about an hour, Jiang Che finally finished. The raspberry branches and roots had produced about a hundred seedlings. When these grew up, there would be about a thousand seedlings if they were divided again.

At that time, take out half to plant outside and leave the other half for seedling cultivation, so that a steady supply of seedlings can be cultivated.

Coming to the edge of the pond, Jiang Che fetched a bucket of water and squatted down to wash his hands. When he stood up, he looked up at the small sapling in the middle of the pond. He didn't know if it was an illusion, but Jiang Che seemed to find that it had grown a little bigger.

Then he shook his head. This sapling was a native of the space and was also the existence that Jiang Che was most reluctant to touch. It was probably his own illusion!

Until now, Jiang Che still hasn't figured out the origin of the beads and what secrets they contain. He believes that all the answers will lie on this tree.

However, Jiang Che still didn't want to touch the sapling for now. The last experience still made him a little uneasy. A tree grew so tall.

So what would the world that carries it look like? This is really hard to imagine!

Without thinking too much, Jiang Che picked up the bucket and watered all the raspberry branches he had just grafted, and of course the Jade Dew did not fall off.

After finishing his work, Jiang Che drank another mouthful of the spiritual water happily. No matter how many times he drank it, Jiang Che always felt that the spiritual water was sweet and delicious. After drinking it, he felt relaxed all over and his blood was instantly restored.

After finishing his work, Jiang Che left the space, thinking that his mother would call him for breakfast soon. The spiritual water he had drunk in the space immediately began to nourish his body. Jiang Che squinted his eyes comfortably.

After the warm feeling passed, Jiang Che got up from the bed and twisted his waist left and right. It didn't hurt at all.

This time, he is completely healed! Jiang Che was very happy. Because of his injury, he couldn't do many things. Now that his injury is healed and he has the space, he can finally show his skills.

Jiang Che took out his cell phone to check what time it was. He had been busy in the space for so long that he didn't know the time.

Jiang Che was a little confused when he looked at his phone. How could it only be half past five?!

I have been busy in the space for at least an hour. Although the space is always gray and there are no reference objects, it is still possible to estimate it.

This is puzzling. Could it be that the speed of time flow in space is different from that in reality?
