Chapter 409: One wave after another

"Old He, have you forgotten that the bureau established a rare wildlife reserve in Yongning County some time ago?"

"I am currently the security guard of this protected area. Why am I here?"

Chen Song smiled and said.

The reserve was established hastily and without extensive publicity.

Therefore, many people in the Forestry Bureau are still not very clear about the specific details of this matter.

"Oh, now I remember. It turns out that this protected area is right inside this village. What a coincidence."

"Then why did you grant this young man a permit? In my opinion, this young man doesn't have the qualifications!"

Captain He nodded, then asked seriously.

"Don't be so serious, Lao He. I don't know why you are here."

"But I want to tell you that this permit was approved by the top leader. Otherwise, do you think I could have made this decision?"

"And this young man is no ordinary person. He is now an external police dog trainer and veterinarian for our Forestry Bureau."

After saying that, Chen Song pulled Captain He to Jiang Che and said with a smile.

"Old He, let me formally introduce you. This young man is called Jiang Che."

"Jiang Che, this is He Hongyi, the director of the management of rare terrestrial wildlife in Yongning County."

"I think there may be some misunderstanding between you. It would be better if you talk it out."

"Old He Xiaoche is definitely not a criminal. You must be here for the red fox, a Class III protected species. I know that little fellow."

"You're wrong to blame Jiang Che. This red fox came here on its own and didn't want to leave. It's in a semi-wild state. I know that."

Chen Song introduced Jiang Che and Captain He with a smile, and then spoke well of Jiang Che.

Jiang Che smiled awkwardly and immediately started curling his toes.

I feel a little sorry for Captain Chen. He thought it was Hongyun's problem, but the matter is more complicated than he thought.

I wonder if Captain Chen will be able to handle it once he knows the truth?

"Red Fox, this kid even raised a red fox?!"

Captain He asked in surprise.

"Yes, a red fox." Captain Chen frowned after saying that, then asked in confusion: "Old He, why do you say it's still there?"

Jiang Che's eye twitched. He knew that he would be exposed sooner or later.

But when this day finally came, he still felt a little guilty!

"Why, Old Chen, you don't know?"

Captain He asked in surprise. He thought Chen Song knew everything.

Their bureau has issued licenses for breeding rare wild animals before.

But they dare to award it to first-class rare and protected animals, but there is not even one.

Apart from zoos, the only institutions that can cultivate rare first-class wild animals are professional breeding institutions.

This requires a lot of qualifications, which is obviously impossible in this small farmyard.

Chen Song shook his head blankly, then looked at Jiang Che.

"Captain Chen, I wanted to tell you this, but I just never found the chance."

"But don't worry, these little guys were definitely not captured by violent means."

"It was a cub I accidentally rescued, and when it grew up, it unexpectedly became dependent on me."

"There's one more thing I want to emphasize. These little guys haven't lost their ability to survive in the wild. You know my ability to train animals best. They're all like little tigers. There's absolutely no problem."

Before Captain He could say anything, Jiang Che immediately explained to Captain Chen with a playful smile.

The more Captain Chen listened, the uglier his expression became. He felt like he had been tricked by this kid!

Seeing Old He so excited, I guess the animals Jiang Che raises are no ordinary ones!

He glared at Jiang Che fiercely and ignored him.

"I really don't understand this. What animal makes you so excited?"

Captain Chen looked at He Hongyi and asked.

"Xiao Zhang, bring the cage over here so Captain Chen can open his eyes."

The police officer wearing glasses immediately ran over with two cages and placed them in front of Captain Chen.

When Captain Chen saw the two little guys in the cage, he quickly squatted down to identify them carefully.

After looking for a while, he recognized it and sat down on the ground.

"This, this is a little civet?!"

"Xiao Che, you really know how to give me problems. Is this something you can support?"

Captain Chen's face trembled as he asked Jiang Che excitedly.

"Captain Chen, I can't do anything about it. The one on the right is called Xiang Ling."

"When I first saw it, it was still breastfeeding and had been abandoned on the roadside. I thought it was just a kitten. I couldn't just stand by and watch it die, could I?"

"I brought it home and raised it. As it grew, I realized it was a civet cat."

Jiang Che spread his hands and told a little lie, otherwise his motive would not be pure.

Captain Chen stood up and pointed at Jiang Che, wanting to say something harsh but not knowing what to say.

"Okay, you did a good thing for the first one, but what about the other one? Couldn't you have picked it up as well?"

Captain Chen asked unhappily.

"The other one is called Banling, a wild adult civet."

"Some time ago, I released Xiang Ling deep in Qingyun Mountain. I didn't expect it to come back a week later. Ban Ling is the wife it abducted."

Jiang Che said with a smile.

Captain Chen and Captain He were shocked after hearing this. Is this possible?

Civets are timid by nature, and adult civets growing in the wild will never approach humans.

This little domestic civet cat was actually able to bring it back. It’s really amazing!
