Chen Xiuzhi helped Jiang Che back to bed, thought for a moment and asked.
"Mom, let's keep it in the bank for now. I'll wait until I'm fully recovered. I just want to go home quickly and have a meal that you made yourself."
Jiang Che said with a smile.
Chen Xiuzhi felt so sweet in her heart when she heard this, and a smile immediately bloomed on her face.
"Okay, my dear son, I'll make you something delicious when you get home. Your second uncle picked your favorite porcini and hericium erinaceus in the mountains the day before yesterday, and I'll stew them for you to nourish you."
Jiang Che swallowed his saliva. The wild delicacies from Huaxi Village were absolutely unique. He hadn't eaten them for a long time!
While Jiang Che and Chen Xiuzhi were talking, Jiang Yunshan came back with Dr. Yan, and followed with a brand new wheelchair.
"Mr. Jiang, you have to think clearly. If anything goes wrong, we doctors will not be responsible."
Doctor Yan said seriously that he didn't know what the parent was thinking. He refused to listen to anything and insisted on being discharged.
"I've thought it through clearly. I've decided to be discharged. If anything goes wrong, I won't blame your hospital. Don't worry, Doctor Yan."
Jiang Yunshan nodded affirmatively. Dr. Yan sighed and looked at Jiang Che.
"Young man, and Ms. Chen, I want to know if this was Mr. Jiang's idea, or if your family paid attention to it?"
Doctor Yan did not give up asking Jiang Che and Chen Xiuzhi. Based on the principle of a doctor being like a parent, it would be better to ask clearly, because no one knew Jiang Che's injuries better than him.
"Doctor Yan, thank you for your concern. This is what our family has agreed on. We are confirmed to be discharged from the hospital."
Jiang Che and Chen Xiuzhi nodded and said.
Doctor Yan remained silent. He opened his mouth to say something, but swallowed the words back. He thought that this family might have given up treatment because they had no money, so there was nothing he could do about it.
"Well, fine, I respect your choice. Go up and help remove the things from the young man."
A few minutes later, Jiang Che, sitting in a wheelchair, waved goodbye to Dr. Yan and his team, and set off on the road back to Huaxi Village.
