Fei Yan's palace still had no servants, and there wasn't even a messenger at the gate.
"Wisteria, go and call your aunt," I said, leaning down and fanning myself with a fan.
"I'm not going." Zi Teng refused directly. Could Zi Teng still be angry with Fei Yan from last night? Really, she's clearly worried a lot, but she's putting on an indifferent act.
"Then you go." Since Zi Teng didn't want to go, I randomly picked a boy who looked pleasing to the eye from among the crowd behind me.
"Go ahead."
"good."
The person I pointed to nodded and bowed before entering Fei Yan's palace.
"Wait, let me go," Zi Teng suddenly said.
I raised an eyebrow at Zi Teng. "Why are you going again?"
Zi Teng gave an awkward snort. "I'm just worried that strangers might accidentally anger my aunt when they see her."
I smiled and fanned myself again and again, not bothering to expose the wisteria. "Then go ahead."
"Okay." Zi Teng smiled and bowed to me in thanks before dragging the person back and entering Fei Yan's palace with practiced ease.
I sat leisurely on the palanquin, waiting for the wisteria. Luckily, I didn't walk today, otherwise the sun would have scorched me to death.
Why isn't the wisteria coming out yet? Just as I was thinking this, the bronze doors of Feiyan Palace stirred again.
This time, it was Zi Teng who came out. "Your Majesty, my aunt invites you."
I nodded, jumped down, and followed behind Zi Teng. If I were to come to Fei Yan's enormous palace alone, I would definitely lose my way.
For such a large palace, Fei Yan even drove away all the servants; she really has a strange personality.
Wisteria led me to the place where Liu Lieyu and I had met last time.
"Wisteria, please wait a moment, my aunt will be here soon."
I nodded.
Wisteria suddenly whispered in my ear from behind me, "Imperial Consort, what methods did you use? Why is my aunt more anxious to see you than to see Liu Lieyu this time?"
I smiled and said, "Didn't I tell you?! Let's catch up. Your aunt and I are very close."
"Very good?" Wisteria looked at me with an expression that said, "Do you think I'm an idiot?"
I ignored the wisteria; I'll wait for Fei Yan to arrive before making a decision.
I took a sip of the tea on the table and waited slowly for Fei Yan to appear.
Fei Yan didn't keep me waiting long this time and came out quickly.
"Fei Yan,"
"The Empress".
I gestured to Fei Yan with my eyes, indicating that there was also this troublesome Zi Teng.
“Wisteria.” Fei Yan glanced at me and immediately understood.
"Auntie, what's wrong?" Fei Yan stepped out from behind and asked.
"You can go out now."
"What?" Zi Teng looked at Fei Yan and then at me, and said, "I'm not going out."
"Now you don't even listen to your aunt anymore?" Fei Yan's eyes were already cold, and with a hint of anger, a chill crept into her heart.
"Auntie, I..." Zi Teng stamped her feet anxiously, but unfortunately, she couldn't finish her sentence.
"Wisteria, you go down first." Fei Yan sighed, perhaps feeling that her tone had been too harsh, and asked in a gentler tone.
"Alright." Seeing Fei Yan's serious expression, Zi Teng had no choice but to obediently nod in agreement. Before leaving, she turned around and added, "Auntie, please don't do anything foolish."
Fei Yan nodded, and Zi Teng then withdrew, relieved.
After Zi Teng left, only Fei Yan and I remained in the vast hall, staring at each other in bewilderment.
