Liu Lieyu just glared at me, but thankfully he didn't make things difficult for me.

I think he's probably in a hurry to break the curse and doesn't want to bother with me.

Liu Lieyu's chanting sounded again, and the same red light danced around my fingers once more.

I glanced at Liu Lieyu and continued looking at my fingers, feeling a little worried. Although the golden light was very powerful just now, what if Liu Lieyu kept trying to break the spell and actually succeeded?

I was as anxious as an ant on a hot pan, but I didn't know what to do. Right now, I had no magic power left, otherwise I could still fight Liu Lieyu.

Suddenly, an idea popped into my head, and a wicked scheme came to mind.

"Ouch! That hurts!" I yelled and fell towards Liu Lieyu, landing directly on top of him.

To make the effect realistic, I didn't use any tricks and just really bumped into it. And let me tell you, it hurt quite a bit!

Liu Lieyu indeed stopped chanting the incantation, and when he opened his eyes, he saw me collapsing in his arms in pain.

"What's wrong?" Although Liu Lieyu usually does terrible things, his concern for me was genuine.

"Ouch!" I cried out, wincing in pain.

"Where does it hurt?" Liu Lieyu hesitated for a moment before helping me up and asking softly.

I made a pained expression and didn't say anything, not because I didn't want to, but because I hadn't thought of where it hurt.

Seeing that I didn't speak, Liu Lieyu became even more anxious. "Unblocking the curse shouldn't harm you."

I shook my head weakly and said intermittently, "The more you nag, the more it hurts me."

My inner monologue: Is this Sun Wukong and Tang Sanzang? All that's missing is the golden headband.

A hint of doubt flashed in Liu Lieyu's eyes. "How could that be?"

When I saw it, I knew I was doomed. I knew Liu Lieyu was not easy to fool. Thinking of the principle that the more I said, the more mistakes I would make, I rolled my eyes and fainted.

With my eyes closed, I couldn't see Liu Lieyu's expression. I only heard him sigh and lift me out of the water. In an instant, my clothes, which were still wet, were dry.

Liu Lieyu carried me back along the route we had taken to get in, then gently placed me back on the bed and covered me with the blanket.

"Donghuang, what's wrong with Nüxin?"

I heard the voice of a strange man.

"It's nothing."

Then came complete silence, so quiet you could hear a pin drop, but I didn't dare open my eyes, since I was still dizzy.

As I lay there, I fell asleep.

When I woke up, the room was empty and the door was locked.

It seems Liu Lieyu has gone to take care of things. Well, with such a vast Guixu, there are so many things waiting for Liu Lieyu.

Besides, Liu Lieyu attacked the Heavenly Court, so it's really kind of him to still find time to come see me.

"Is anyone there?" I shouted from my bed.

My door suddenly opened, and a strange woman walked in. Judging from her attire, she was probably a maid.

"Your Majesty, what are your orders?" The woman bowed gracefully.

What did you call me?

"The Empress".

"Don't call me that, call me Emperor Xin."

The woman said slowly and deliberately, "I'm afraid I can't comply. It was the Eastern Emperor who ordered us to address you as Imperial Consort when we see you."

I was furious, but I suppressed my anger and asked, "Has Liu Lieyu been quite busy lately?"

The woman lowered her head and did not answer.

Why aren't you saying anything?

"Your Majesty, the Eastern Emperor has ordered that we are forbidden from engaging in idle chatter with you."

I... Damn Liu Lieyu! Why is he so wary of me? He won't even let me chat with him?! Is he afraid I'll kidnap someone from his family?!
