“Just feed them something else, we have several of them anyway,” I replied loudly to Feng Su, then whispered to You beside me, “Get up, I want to go see Pipi.”
"What's so interesting about a pig?" You still held me tightly with her arm around me, her tone tinged with grievance. "Look at me." With that, You pushed me down with one hand, her fair and handsome face looming over me, her dark eyes fixed on me.
Sunlight streamed through the window and fell on You's back, revealing that her waist-length black hair remained jet black even under the sunlight.
"You, what are you doing?" I asked, blushing and looking out the window with some concern. It was still broad daylight, and Feng Su was still shouting outside.
"What do you think I want to do?" You chuckled softly, slowly approaching me.
I instinctively closed my eyes, but the expected kiss did not come as planned.
When I opened my eyes, I saw You, who couldn't stop laughing and was shaking with laughter.
"You!" I angrily punched You's chest, but the next second You lifted my chin and placed a sweet and long kiss on my lips.
I gently tugged at You's clothes, savoring the kiss.
"Master, Youyuan?" Feng Su's voice rang out from outside again.
You then released me, looked at me with a smile, gently flicked my nose, and said, "Alright, get up. If you don't get up, Feng Su might burst in."
"Okay." My face was slightly flushed, not from shyness, but simply because I couldn't breathe.
You got up from me first, stood up and straightened her clothes, and I got up too. However, I hadn't washed up yet, so I had to take a basin and towel to the backyard to wash my face first.
You opened our door first, and sunlight poured in, filling the room.
"Master, Youyuan, you've finally gotten up."
"Where's Pipi?" I asked, peeking out from behind You while holding a basin and towel.
“He’s in the industry.” Feng Su pointed to a corner.
I looked over and saw several lazy little piglets huddled in the pen.
I decided to go check on Pipi first, and with that thought, I started walking towards the pigpen.
Back then, to prevent the pigsty from becoming smelly, the three of us took turns cleaning it, and we also planted flowers all around the pigsty.
When I'm cleaning the pigsty, I can't help but feel grateful that we have magical powers; we only need to think about it, it's just a matter of mental effort.
There are currently four piglets in the pigpen. Two of them are slightly larger, one is slightly smaller, and one is particularly thin and looks like it won't live past tomorrow.
Without a doubt, this skinny little piglet who looks like he won't live past tomorrow is Pipi. Don't let his current sickly appearance fool you.
As soon as we left, Pipi became quite a character, living up to his nickname "Pipi" (meaning mischievous and naughty), and recklessly flirting with the edge of the roast suckling pig.
I plucked a flower and threw it at Pipi to tease him, then took the basin and went to the backyard.
In the past few days, Youdu and I have tacitly agreed not to mention giving Feng Su a surprise again.
Sometimes, Feng Su would suddenly ask us a question, and You and I would immediately pretend to be busy talking to each other, deliberately ignoring what Feng Su said.
Feng Su's mood visibly declined over the past few days, and she stopped asking questions altogether.
Several times I almost gave myself away because I saw Feng Su's sad expression.
Oh my god, the day of surprise is almost here! If this keeps up, I'm really afraid Feng Su will develop depression.
After enduring these difficult days, the day to surprise Feng Su has finally arrived.
“Go tell Feng Su.” I nudged You with my elbow.
"Why should I say it? You came up with the solution, and you're still Feng Su's master."
"I can't bear to say it." I glanced through the window at Feng Su, who was sitting in the courtyard, looking lost and distressed, and my heart ached.
After a moment of silence, he finally relented, "I'll go talk to them."
"Mmm." I looked at You gratefully and pushed her towards the door. "Remember to say it coldly," I called out from behind her.
You put one hand behind her back and gave me an OK sign.
I secretly hid behind the door, watching You and Feng Su's every move in the courtyard.
You strode over to Feng Su's side, but Feng Su didn't even glance at You, remaining seated.
You spoke first, "Feng Su, Xin'er wants to eat braised fish, why don't you go fishing by the river and bring it back?"
"Okay." Feng Su nodded listlessly and got up to leave.
"Wait a minute," You Shi stopped Feng Su. "Don't you bring any fishing gear?"
“No need, I can use my magic to get a basketful,” Feng Su waved her hand and refused.
"no."
"What do you mean no?" Feng Su lowered her head, and actually showed a slight reaction.
"This braised fish tastes best when it's caught with a fishing rod." With that, You handed over all the fishing gear that she had somehow acquired to Feng Su.
Feng Su stared blankly at the prop in her hand, then nodded, "Okay, I'm going."
"etc."
"What is it now?" Feng Su turned her head and a hint of anger finally appeared on her usually calm face.
I saw You swallow hard, and a rare cold sweat appeared on her face. "If you really can't catch any, you must be back by six o'clock."
"How could I not catch one?" Feng Su sneered. "Who do you think you are?"
"No, I was just using an example." You touched her nose and emphasized again, "Remember to be back before six!"
"Okay! I understand." Feng Su replied solemnly, then carried her fishing gear and headed towards the river.
"Remember, you can't use magic!" You shouted again from behind Feng Su.
Feng Su turned around and glared at You before quickly running away.
After Feng Su left, I came out from behind the door, ran to You's side, and asked, "You, why did you let him go fishing?"
"What's wrong?" You turned around and asked.
"I haven't caught a single fish all day, but what if Feng Su is exceptionally talented and catches them all in no time?"
He smiled mysteriously, "He can't catch it."
"Why?" I looked up and saw You's familiar smile, and a thought crossed my mind. "You tampered with the fishing gear?"
“My Xin’er has finally shown some intelligence for once.” You nodded and smiled. “The fishing gear I gave Feng Su not only has straight hooks, but I also tampered with the bait. As long as Feng Su uses the bait I gave him to enter the water, no fish within a five-mile radius will approach him. How do you think Feng Su could possibly catch anything?”
I sniffed. "You, you're really smart."
You smiled and nodded, accepting my opinion. She continued, "I was worried that Feng Su was too stubborn and wouldn't come back until he caught any fish, so I told him to come back at six o'clock no matter whether he caught any or not."
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's get ready quickly. We must give Feng Su the most perfect surprise." I clapped my hands and went to the room to take out the props I had been treasuring for many days.
