"Feng Su, don't worry." I slowly wiped the blood from You's chin to control my emotions and whispered to Feng Su, "I will never fall before Liu Lieyu dies."

"Master..." Feng Su murmured behind me, then said in a firm tone, "Master, Feng Su will never hold you back again. I will protect you well from now on."

I chuckled softly, slowly wiping away the bloodstains on You's chin. "I believe you."

I took back the handkerchief and stared intently at You.

You sent us to the Abyss for a reason; I remember that You and the Abyss had a close relationship.

While the outside world knew very little about the Abyss, You was extremely familiar with its situation, clearly having been there frequently.

"Master, what are you thinking about?"

Seeing me staring blankly at You's body, propping my head up as if lost in thought, Feng Su asked.

"I'm wondering why You brought us to the abyss."

Feng Su lowered her head and thought for a moment, "It must be because the Abyss is the safest place. Master, think about it, the Abyss has always been mysterious to the outside world, and few people know about it. You must have thought it was safe here, so you brought us here."

“What you said makes some sense, but it’s certainly not the whole story.” I shifted my gaze to Feng Su’s expression.

"Feng Su, can you tell if there are any acupuncture techniques around here?" You is always cautious. He actually chose this place. He must have made preparations for us in advance. Otherwise, Liu Lieyu would have caught up with us long ago. But so far, there is no trace of any pursuers. You must have set up an array in advance.

"Master, what do you mean?" Feng Su suddenly opened her eyes wide.

"There must be a formation here, otherwise Liu Lieyu's pursuers would have arrived long ago."

Feng Su immediately stood up and paced around to observe the surroundings.

"Feng Su, don't wander off." I immediately stopped Feng Su from moving. We haven't seen the location of the formation yet. If we wander off and leave the formation, we'll immediately be exposed to Liu Lieyu's sight.

"Okay." Feng Su immediately realized what was happening, but simply stood still and observed her surroundings, refraining from making any unnecessary movements.

"Did Feng Su figure it out?" I know nothing about acupuncture, but fortunately Feng Su knows a little about it.

Feng Su shook her head somewhat dejectedly, "Master, I'm sorry, I'm far inferior to You Yuan in terms of array formations."

"It's alright, take your time and you'll find it eventually," I said with a gentle smile to reassure Feng Su, telling her not to rush.

It's normal that Feng Su's array formations are inferior to You's. After all, You was Emperor Jun in his previous life, and the changes in the world began with him. No one will understand array formations better than You.

Feng Su nodded, understanding that now that You was gone, it was just the two of them, Feng Su and I, who depended on each other for survival. Feng Su rarely put on a serious expression as she carefully observed.

I got a little bored while waiting, so I started to grope You's body again.

Suddenly, I felt a chill all over my body, but this chill had a familiar feeling. My first thought was, could it be Liu Lieyu?

No, I immediately denied it. I was very familiar with Liu Lieyu's aura. This was definitely not Liu Lieyu!

Feng Su also sensed someone approaching and immediately returned to protect me behind her. "Master, if there is any danger, you should leave first."

"What are you thinking? Feng Su, how could I possibly abandon you? Where am I supposed to find another phoenix as majestic as you?"

"Master, I'm not joking with you!" Feng Su stood protectively in front of me, her nervous demeanor a far cry from her previous immature self, as if she had suddenly become an adult overnight.

"Feng Su, I won't leave." I stepped out from behind Feng Su. Every time, I was hiding behind others and had never truly faced a battle.

I have many excuses, such as I'm afraid of holding others back, or that Yu told me not to move. But deep down, I know best that I'm just afraid. I'm afraid of fighting with people, I'm afraid of getting hurt, and I always try to avoid things whenever possible.

Now that You has finally died protecting me, I cannot accept that Feng Su will also die protecting me!

The chill was getting closer and closer, as if it were right next to us. The coldness on my body grew heavier and heavier. I jolted and looked back, but there was no one there.

"Where did they go?" I clearly felt someone behind me, but they disappeared in the blink of an eye.

Could it be that I sensed something wrong?

I was deep in thought when I suddenly heard Feng Su shout, "Who are you?!"

I looked up and saw a man dressed in a black robe standing not far from us, staring intently at You's corpse. I don't know how to describe the look in his eyes—it was a mixture of longing, envy, and relief. I had never seen such a look before.

For some reason, I inexplicably felt that he posed no threat to us and was not our enemy.

"Who are you?" I asked aloud.

Upon hearing my voice, the man in the black robe seemed to tremble slightly, whether I was seeing things or not. He then turned to look at me. The man wore a silver paper mask, and his eyes alone were enough to captivate all beings.

I felt as if something exploded in my head when those eyes were staring at me.

The man just stared at me without saying a word, and walked towards me step by step.

Feng Su stopped the man, "Take one more step and I won't be polite!"

"Feng Su, step back."

"Owner."

"Step back!"

"Master! You don't even know who he is."

I sighed, "Feng Su, step down. He's not a bad person."

Feng Su glanced at me, then turned her head to look at the man, and had no choice but to step aside, watching the man's every move warily.

As the man walked up to me, the chill around us intensified, and I noticed that every step he took left icy patterns on his feet.

This is... How cold must this person be...?

I swallowed hard, unsure of what to say.

The man suddenly spoke up, "Can you kiss me?"

"Master, I told you he wasn't a good person!" Upon hearing this, Feng Su excitedly stepped forward to beat him up.

However, as soon as Feng Su took a step, her body was frozen solid and she could not move.

I stared blankly at everything before me. For some reason, even now, I still didn't think he was a bad person.

Why should I kiss you?

“I can save him.” The man pointed to Feng Su on the ground and smiled faintly. Although I couldn’t see his expression through the mask, for some reason, I felt that he was smiling because I could see his eyes.

Are you serious?

"Yes." The man nodded slightly. "I can save him." He repeated himself.

With my normal intelligence, I should have resisted and given this person a good scolding, but for some reason I believed it.

I believe he can save You, and I don't know why I believe he definitely can.
