This is practically an adorable zoo.
Qianxi sat cross-legged on a green futon, with several cute, furry creatures rubbing against her.
The room was large, and apart from a few cushions on the floor, there were almost no other items. The little ones were running around and playing inside.
A daring four-legged creature actually tried to climb onto Liu Lieyu.
Liu Lieyu glanced down at it, and as I expected, pushed it away with a look of disgust.
"What did you mean by 'trouble' just now?" Liu Lieyu straightened his robes, his slender eyes looking at Qian Xi opposite him.
Qianxi propped his head up and pondered for a moment before speaking, "The caster is very strong, and his understanding of spells is no less than mine."
I was secretly delighted. How could it not be strong? You must know that You was Di Jun in his previous life, although You himself didn't know it.
Liu Lieyu remained silent, his slender eyes fixed on Qian Xi.
Qianxi, perhaps feeling uncomfortable from being stared at, shifted her posture uneasily and said, "But it can still be solved, though I need time to study it."
"How do you plan to conduct the research?"
Qianxi looked at me and said, "Give me some blood."
More blood? I feel like I've become a heartless blood-producing machine.
"no."
Huh? I turned my head to look at Liu Lieyu. It was just some blood. Why was Liu Lieyu so nervous?
"Why?" Qianxi looked at Liu Lieyu with puzzlement. "It's just some blood."
Liu Lieyu frowned and shook his head. "No, is there any other way?"
Seeing Liu Lieyu's unusually tense expression, I wondered, does Liu Lieyu know the secret of my blood? I always thought only You and Feiyan knew about this... How did Liu Lieyu find out?
Qianxi blinked, her gaze shifting between me and Liu Lieyu, and suddenly asked, "Could there be some secret in her blood?"
Liu Lieyu raised his eyes and looked at Qian Xi with eyes as sharp as swords.
Qianxi was startled, and shrugged weakly, saying, "If there's no blood, there's nothing I can do."
I lowered my eyes and gently stroked the cat in my arms. If Liu Lieyu truly cared for me and was unwilling to reveal the secret of my blood to others, then this curse could not be broken.
A moment of silence fell over the field. I noticed Liu Lieyu's gaze fixed on me. I looked up, smiled gently, and remained silent.
Liu Lieyu gave me a deep look, then turned to Qianxi opposite him and said, "I know that even if I set up an array, I can't trap you, and poisoning or cursing you will be useless. But I only have one thing to say: if you dare to leak the effects of the Empress's blood, I will chase you to the ends of the earth and make you wish you were dead."
I chuckled to myself, realizing that my safety was insignificant compared to Liu Lieyu's.
Qianxi just looked at me with a puzzled expression, "Is there something special about her blood?"
I smiled charmingly and raised my hand to tuck the stray hairs that were falling on my cheek behind my ear. "It's just that my bones have grown flesh and my cultivation has greatly increased."
"White bones and flesh growing back?" The shallow, charming eyes of the peach blossom stared at me widely. "Your cultivation has greatly increased?"
Liu Lieyu gave me a silent look.
I put down the orange cat I was holding, stood up, and walked to Qianxi's side. I parted my lips slightly and asked, "Do you have a knife?"
She shrank back a little, looked at me timidly, and then produced a dagger and handed it to me.
I took it, smiled, and skillfully sliced open my upper right palm. Crimson blood gushed out instantly. Qianxi stared at me blankly until my blood dripped onto her face, at which point she realized what was happening and conjured a bowl.
