"Liu Lieyu, let's go." I nudged Liu Lieyu beside me, feeling a bit annoyed.

Liu Lieyu opened his narrow eyes and looked at me with confusion. "Xin'er, why are you so impatient these days?"

"I..." Not knowing what to say, I could only glare at Liu Lieyu and turn away to sulk.

You are all gods who transcend the mundane world; a thousand years is but a blink of an eye.

The more I thought about it, the angrier I got. If I had magical powers right now, I could cultivate and kill time, but I don't have any. Am I just supposed to sit here doing nothing?

Seeing that I was angry, Liu Lieyu didn't try to coax me. I waited for a long time and then there was no sound behind me. When I turned around, I saw that Liu Lieyu had closed his eyes to rest again!

My God! How could there be such a person? I glared angrily at Liu Lieyu, and while he had his eyes closed, I started making faces at him, showing my contempt.

But before I could even process my expression, Liu Lieyu's slender eyes suddenly opened and stared at me, making the scene instantly awkward.

I composed myself and sat down properly.

"I'll go check on Qianxi and see what's going on. You wait here for me," Liu Lieyu said with a sigh as he stood up helplessly.

"Go quickly and come back quickly!"

"Okay." Liu Lieyu bent down and ruffled my hair before disappearing.

Ugh, this is so difficult. I can't even figure out which direction they are in. But they should be up in the attic, I thought. I looked up at the ceiling. From the outside, I could tell that this bamboo house has three floors.

After Liu Lieyu left, I was left alone with a room full of small animals, and I became even more bored.

Fortunately, although some of the animals here are bold, most are as shy as their owners; otherwise, they would all have pounced on me, which would have been uncomfortable.

I traced the grass with my finger, counting the time in my mind. I wanted them to come out quickly, but I also hoped they would come out later.

I don't know whether the conclusion of my brief analysis later will be that it can be solved or not.

I started counting my troops while muttering to myself. Before I finished, a pair of shoes appeared in front of me. I looked up and saw that it was Liu Lieyu standing in front of me.

Liu Lieyu is really reliable. I told him to go and come back quickly, and he really did.

I quickly spotted Qianxi following behind Liu Lieyu. I observed their expressions but couldn't tell whether they could solve the problem or not.

"Xin'er." Liu Lieyu suddenly called me gently. My heart tightened. If Liu Lieyu called me like that, it must be because something was wrong.

"What's wrong?"

“You’ll be staying here for a while.” Liu Lieyu squatted down, looking me directly in the eye.

"Why?" I asked, puzzled. I didn't want to live here; it was too boring.

Liu Lieyu reached out to comfort me, "It's okay, I'll have Huanzi come and take care of you. I'll also come and keep you company often if you're bored."

"I don't want to!" I refused cleanly and decisively.

Liu Lieyu narrowed his long, narrow eyes and frowned slightly, seemingly dissatisfied with my answer.

I mustered my courage and said in a coquettish tone, "Are you really comfortable with me sharing a room with another man?"

After spending this time together, I found that as long as I didn't make any major mistakes, Liu Lieyu was quite tolerant of me, so I gradually stopped taking his dissatisfaction to heart.

Liu Lieyu's brows relaxed, and he glanced back at Qian Xi, looking her up and down.

Qianxi noticed Liu Lieyu's unfriendly gaze falling on her, his expression resembling that of a cub that Liu Lieyu had just picked up.

"I have no improper thoughts about her," Qianxi said timidly, blinking her amorous peach blossom eyes.
