In the blink of an eye, our group easily left Guixu.
I opened my eyes and looked around, somewhat unable to believe that I had actually made it out.
I pinched myself hard, afraid that I was just having a dream.
"Finally, we've left Guixu." After my initial shock, I grabbed You and Feng Su and burst into laughter.
She stood quietly beside me with a smile on her face. After a while, she said, "Xin'er, we need to hide for a while."
"Okay." I looked up at You, whose eyes were smiling, and snuggled into her arms, savoring her scent. It felt so good.
"Xin'er, where do you want to go?" You asked softly, her arms around my waist.
"Weren't you going to hide?"
"Okay, but I'm fine with hiding anywhere, I'll listen to Xin'er."
I nestled in You's arms, looking up at her, when she looked down and her eyes met mine.
"Let's go somewhere quiet, somewhere we won't be easily spotted." Actually, I was just about to suggest going to the mortal realm, but there are too many people there, and I always felt that Liu Lieyu would easily discover us.
"Okay." You said, gently patting my forehead. "Let's go."
I got up from You's arms and suddenly thought that Luo had helped us. Would Liu Lieyu find out?
"You, Luo helped us escape, but Liu Lieyu won't find out, will he?"
"No, the meeting between Liu Lieyu and Luo was proposed by Liu Lieyu himself. Luo only told us about it. Liu Lieyu has no evidence."
After hearing You's explanation, I was still a little worried. "That's Liu Lieyu, he won't care whether there's evidence or not."
"Don't worry, Liu Lieyu won't be stupid enough to make a move against Luo now."
"Why?" I asked, somewhat curious.
“Liu Lieyu’s power seems great, but the trouble he’s causing is also considerable.” A sarcastic smile appeared on You’s lips. “Hell, the pressure from Kunlun, and the West. Those bald monks in the West may look compassionate and kind, but they’re definitely not to be trifled with. He’s going to cause trouble for Luo for no reason right now. Isn’t offending a bunch of former Heavenly Court officials just courting death?”
"That's good. I hope Luo is alright."
The three of us chatted and laughed all the way, and when we reached a hill, I stopped.
This is a nice place, nestled against the mountains and beside the water.
"You, let's stay here for now."
I excitedly ran back and forth in the grass, stopping to pick some pretty flowers whenever I saw them. "You, look, there are so many wildflowers here."
With a wry smile, she slowly walked to my side and said, "If you like, then we'll stay here."
"I will obey my master." Feng Su followed closely behind, and I quickly helped her up. The injuries Feng Su suffered in the prison had not fully healed.
"Then let's stay here." After looking around, I pointed to a corner on the hillside.
Now that we'd decided to stay, we got busy. Luckily, we had the magic to build a house, so it was a breeze. The main thing was...
I turned to look at You, who was constantly wandering around, muttering incantations and changing hand gestures. You had set up this formation to prevent Liu Lieyu from discovering us. After all, Liu Lieyu was no ordinary person, and he also had Wu's mirror, so the process was quite complicated.
Seeing that You was busy, I didn't bother him and focused on thinking about what kind of house I wanted to cut out.
The image that flashed through my mind was of a small, exquisite bamboo house. I rested my chin on my hand and thought about it. Although the bamboo house was nice, it just didn't quite suit my taste.
"Feng Su, what kind of house do you like?" I couldn't think of one myself, so I turned to ask Feng Su beside me.
"I like bright, sparkling rooms, rooms that are full of light." Feng Su's phoenix eyes sparkled as he said this.
It's glowing and sparkling at night? I can't sleep like that.
"Feng Su, everything is glowing, how are we going to sleep at night?"
Feng Su lowered her head and thought for a moment, then said, "Let's build a few wooden houses." After saying that, Feng Su looked up at me intently, "As long as I'm with my master, I don't care where I live."
I was worried because Feng Su was always so clingy to me. Feng Su was always clinging to me, but he didn't make any friends, meet any other women, or even date. What was going to happen to him?
Despite my worries, the most important thing right now is to figure out what kind of house to build. I don't want to spend my first night away from Guixu sleeping in the open.
In the end, I decided on an ordinary house with blue tiles and bricks, and I slowly began to build it according to my own ideas.
First, we need a fence made of vines. Given the abilities of the three of us, it's not meant to keep out wild animals. I just felt that a house in the mountains must have a fence covered with vines.
Behind the fence is the courtyard, where some fruit trees should be planted so that fresh fruit can be eaten all the time. Under the trees, there should be some delicate flowers. On the left side of the fence, a piece of land should be enclosed for raising poultry. Hmm, a pond is unnecessary, as there are many mosquitoes and dampness near the water in summer.
Next is the house standing in the courtyard, with blue tiles. There are three rooms connected by a short corridor. The middle room is two stories high. I turned the second floor into an open-air balcony. When the night is quiet, I can lie on the roof and look at the stars. The downstairs is where the three of us play together, eat, play cards, chat, and laugh. Going left through the corridor leads to my and You's bedroom, and going right leads to Feng Su's room.
As for the kitchen, it was placed separately in the backyard.
In the backyard, there's not only a kitchen, but also plots of land that I've planned out for growing vegetables. It's not a big place, since there are only three of us and we can't eat that much.
I raised my hand, and the open space in front of me gradually transformed into the shape I had in mind.
"Wow, Master, it looks amazing!" Feng Su watched me cast the spell without blinking, praising me wildly.
Feng Su's cry attracted You Du, who was casting a spell nearby.
"Xin'er, you look really good." You Du walked over to my side and praised.
When I heard You's praise, I was so excited that I almost built the kitchen crookedly. I quickly calmed myself down and finished building it little by little. Then I looked at You excitedly and asked, "You, am I good?" I looked like I was asking for praise.
"Amazing." You nodded and leaned down to plant a kiss on my cheek.
I smiled like a fool after being kissed by You; it had been so long since I had spent time with You.
"Alright, let's go in and take a look. I haven't had time to change the equipment inside yet. Oh, right, You, you're in charge of catching some pheasants, rabbits, wild boars, or something like that and putting them in the plot of land I fenced off on the left side of my courtyard. Keep them there." I originally wanted to ask Feng Su to go to the mountains to catch them, but considering that Feng Su's health hadn't fully recovered yet, I handed it over to You.
"Okay." You nodded lightly.
"This will be our home from now on. You can transform anything you need inside." I smiled and pushed open the middle door. Luckily, we all have magical powers, so it was very convenient.
