Chapter 250

"What is Brother Youyuan?" Hao blinked his bright eyes at Feng Su.

Before I could reply, Feng Su spoke first, "Naturally, he is Sun Moon Lord's capable assistant."

I was taken aback and secretly observed Hao's expression, wondering if Hao would believe what Feng Su said.

"Oh." Hao's expression was no different from usual, clearly he didn't care about this matter.

“Then it must be that Lord Sun and Moon arranged a task for Brother Youyuan,” Hao replied after thinking for a moment.

"Haha, maybe that's true." I laughed it off, feeling it wasn't appropriate to talk about You in front of Hao.

As we were talking, You came in from outside.

Could it be that You knew we were talking about him and came over? This thought only flashed through my mind before I dismissed it. How could You be so bored?

"Xin'er".

"What's wrong?" You's expression was somewhat solemn, as if something major had happened.

"Liu Lieyu knows we're here."

"How did he know?" I asked in surprise, immediately standing up.

Why does Liu Lieyu keep haunting us? Whenever my life with You becomes peaceful, he appears like a demon's curse.

"I don't know how he found out about this."

"What should I do?" I paced anxiously, afraid that You would get hurt again. Why is Liu Lieyu so obsessed with Nv Xin?

"Xin'er, don't panic." You pressed down my anxious hand and comforted me.

The short, powerful voice acted like a tranquilizer, calming me down considerably.

“You.” I grasped You’s hand and looked straight at her, saying, “If we lose, don’t worry about me. Liu Lieyu won’t kill me anyway.”

You silently scrutinized my face with her eyes, then raised an eyebrow and said, "What nonsense are you talking about?"

"I...I'm serious." I pursed my lips, my hands clenched so tightly they were sweaty. "I don't want anything to happen to you."

"Don't worry." A faint smile appeared on You's lips, her eyes full of confidence. "This time, I will definitely not lose."

I hope so.

Ever since You told me that Liu Lieyu knew our address, I've rarely seen You.

As for the medicinal soup You had prepared before, it was no longer available. She simply told me that we should raise a child together after this matter was truly resolved. I naturally knew that now was not the best time for me to conceive.

"Look, the freshest ingredients!"

"Please wait a moment, customer!"

"Young lady, take a look at our new jewelry."

Sun and Moon City remained as bustling as ever.

I wandered aimlessly through Sun and Moon City with Feng Su and Hao. Of course, I had a purpose in going out. You didn't want to say much about Liu Lieyu, but just told me to put my mind at ease.

I had no choice but to come out and check the situation in the city myself. I figured that this time, there was bound to be a big battle between the two sides.

"Feng Su, where is Qingyuan? I'd like to go see the woman who has you so captivated."

My reason for going to Qingyuan wasn't just to see the woman Feng Su admired, but also because Qingyuan is a place with many people and gossip, and I might overhear some rumors.

"Um, Master, let's not go..." Feng Su's face was slightly flushed and her eyes were wandering.

"What are you afraid of? Are you worried I'll eat her up?"

"No..."

"So you think I'm embarrassing you?"

"How could this be?!" Feng Su hurriedly waved her hands.

I didn't say anything, just stared straight at Feng Su.

Feng Su finally gave in and sighed helplessly, "Fine." Then she added, "Master, please don't say anything strange to Ning'er later..."

"Huh? What do you mean by strange words?" I asked, looking at Feng Su, whose face was flushed red.

"Sister, Feng Su hasn't confessed his feelings to that girl yet!" Hao said while eating the food in his hand.

Feng Su glared down at Hao, but Hao made a face at Feng Su and continued, "Feng Su is so timid. Every time I try to persuade him to express his feelings, he acts like he has a speech impediment whenever he goes to talk to a girl. He's usually a very talkative person."

"I see." I stroked my chin and smiled knowingly. "Feng Su, should I go and say it for you?"

Feng Su hurriedly shook her head, "No need, no need, I'll go and tell them myself."

"Then you'd better hurry up, or I'll tell her for you." I teased. Actually, I didn't mean to help Feng Su confess. After all, it's not appropriate for outsiders to get involved in matters of the heart. I said this because I wanted Feng Su to say it herself.

"I will tell," Feng Su said softly.

"Okay. Good luck." I instinctively reached out to pat Feng Su's head but stopped in mid-air and withdrew my hand. Feng Su has someone she likes now. If they get together in the future, it's better for me to avoid suspicion so that the person Feng Su likes won't get jealous and misunderstand my relationship with Feng Su.

"Take me there quickly."

"Sister, I'll lead the way. I know the way around Qingyuan very well," Hao volunteered.

"What? Hao, you have someone you like in Qingyuan too?" I squatted down and pinched Hao's soft, rosy cheeks.

"How could that be? I only remembered it because I went with Feng Su a lot."

"Alright, then you lead the way."

I followed Hao and we walked through several alleys until we arrived at the legendary Qingyuan.

Two imposing black pillars stand in front of the door, and above them is a golden signboard with the words "Qingyuan" written in large characters.

Is this Qingyuan?

I looked around and saw that the storefront was decorated quite nicely and was large in scale. No other storefront in the vicinity was as spacious as Qingyuan's. People were coming and going in front of the store, and there was a golden signboard.

Before I even entered the park, I could faintly hear the sounds of performances and cheers from the audience.

"Let's go." I glanced around a few times and followed them inside. The entrance was divided in two by a fence; the left side was for going in, and the right side was for coming out.

Feng Su was at the front, Hao was in the middle, and I was at the back. When we entered, Feng Su, who was at the front, paid the entrance fee.

As soon as we entered Qingyuan, a man dressed in blue clothes with a purple belt approached us. His face was full of friendly smiles, which did not make us feel annoyed. "Young Master Feng, Young Master Hao, you've come again today."

"Hmm," Feng Su replied softly, glancing back at me before continuing, "Is the old spot still there?"

"Of course, it's always been empty for you." The person replied cleverly, then followed Feng Su's gaze to me, nodding as our eyes met. "And this is?"

"This is my friend. We came to see him together today." Feng Su walked ahead, and I followed quietly behind her.

"No wonder he has such a handsome appearance and outstanding temperament, he is clearly no ordinary person. He is a friend of Young Master Feng."

I smiled slightly upon hearing this; after all, being praised is always a happy thing.

I observed the people coming and going in Qingyuan. Besides the spectators, there were also many people in Qingyuan dressed in blue robes, and their clothes were exactly the same as those who had welcomed us.
