"I understand, so Liu Lieyu mobilized various forces to persuade them to come to the Abyss and sent a delegation to understand the situation."
You nodded slightly. "Exactly."
I was immediately happy to receive You's affirmation, but my mood quickly turned sour again.
"What's wrong?" You noticed my low spirits.
Even if we knew all this, we could only watch helplessly as they gathered information.
He chuckled and rubbed my head. "They only know the surface. Even if they did, what could they do?"
Although You's words made sense, I was still unhappy. The thought that Liu Lieyu's little trick had succeeded again made me furious.
How long are they going to stay here?
"I estimate I'll be staying for at least ten days."
"So long?"
The sound of my conversation with You echoed in the silent palace.
The mission remained in the abyss for seven or eight days without showing any sign of leaving.
I stayed cooped up in the inner palace all day, afraid to go out and run into familiar faces. I didn't want them to know I was here.
"Master, aren't you bored staying cooped up in the inner palace every day these past few days?"
Feng Su actually had some free time today to chat with me.
"How boring!"
"Then why don't you go out, Master?"
I looked around and swallowed hard, making sure You wasn't there before I spoke, "But I don't want anyone to know I'm here."
Feng Su looked at me silently for a while, as if she had something to say to me.
"What’s wrong with you?"
Feng Su hesitated for a long time before speaking, "Master, do you know that I am the last phoenix in the world?"
"I know."
"Do you know that the ownership of this phoenix is common knowledge throughout the world?"
"I know, what do you mean?"
Feng Su remained silent, only giving me a look that left me to understand on my own.
"I understand! Feng Su, why didn't you say so sooner?"
Seeing that I finally understood, Feng Su chuckled and slipped away.
My God, I thought I had hidden it well, but it was exposed on the very first day.
Feng Su was in charge of receiving the delegations, and she was also present at the banquet, which means that the delegations already knew I was there.
Damn it, I feel like a complete idiot.
Just as I was feeling annoyed and angry, You appeared and asked, "Xin'er, what are you thinking about?"
"I'm wondering if I'm a complete idiot."
"What's wrong now?"
I held You's hand, feeling wronged. "I've been cooped up in the palace these past few days and haven't dared to go out, but it turns out everyone already knows I'm here."
"So what if others find out?" You sat down next to me.
I glanced at You, who was calm and collected beside me, and suddenly seemed to remember something. "Did you already know all along?"
After a moment of silence, he nodded, and seeing that I was about to throw a tantrum again, he pulled me into his arms and said, "I just want everyone to know that you and I are together."
I initially thought I was the only one being foolishly encouraged, but after You said that, all my anger vanished, leaving only a little bit of shyness.
"Don't you want everyone to know that you're with me?" You's somewhat aggrieved voice was in my ear.
How could that be?
You kissed me hard on the cheek and said, "I've come to tell you some good news."
"What good news?" I snuggled into You's arms, tugging at her clothes playfully.
"They're leaving."
"Really?" I was overjoyed; these annoying guys were finally leaving.
When are they leaving?
"the day after tomorrow."
"Ah, there are still two days left."
You simply rubbed my head and said, "It'll only be two days, it'll be over quickly." After saying that, You got up.
"Where are you going?" Why are you leaving again so soon after you arrived?
"I still have some things to take care of, I'll come to keep you company later."
"Then go ahead."
I watched You's retreating figure. After You left, I lay in the hall for a while, but I got really bored and decided to go out and play.
Go ahead, so what if we run into each other? They already know I'm here anyway.
With that thought in mind, I immediately got up, tidied myself up quickly, and left the palace.
No matter when I come out, Sun and Moon City is always bustling with activity, as if the city never tires.
I've already planned today's itinerary: first, I'll have lunch at Yongtai Pavilion, then I'll spend some time at Qingyuan Garden.
With that in mind, I headed toward Yongtai Pavilion.
I occasionally looked at the roadside vendors along the street. This sugar figurine looks nice; I'll buy it and bring it back for Hao.
"Miss, you're so beautiful, won't you come and see my cosmetics?"
I waved my hand, "No need, no need."
I've never been very interested in cosmetics; my face is already extremely beautiful without makeup.
"Sir, please come in. Why are you the only guest here today?"
As soon as I arrived at the entrance of Yongtai Pavilion, my servant invited me inside.
"They have business to attend to today."
"I see, still the same old spot?"
"Yes, that's right."
Feng Suhao, Feng Suhao, and I have become regulars at Yongtai Pavilion.
I sat down in my usual spot as usual, ordered my food, and then leisurely waited for it to arrive.
Yongtai Pavilion's delicious food is undoubtedly amazing, as confirmed by the three of us. Most importantly, their dishes are famous for being spicy, which is perfect for someone like me who loves spicy food.
Before long, all the dishes I ordered were served.
I was engrossed in my meal when there was another knock on the door of the private room. I glanced at the table and saw that all the dishes had been served. Why were they knocking again?
"Come in."
The door opened with a sound. I assumed it was a waiter and didn't pay any attention, continuing to eat without even looking up.
