Before I could find the program, there was a knock on the door.
You're moving so fast? Or did you realize you forgot something along the way?
"You?" No one answered me from outside the door; the knocking continued.
I frowned. Who could it be?
I got out of bed and went to open the door still wearing a bathrobe.
As soon as the door opened, a familiar face came into view, and I instinctively reached out to close it.
The man reached out and braced himself against the door, chuckling softly, "Don't you want to go back?"
"I don't understand what you're talking about!" I frowned and was about to slam the door shut.
The person chuckled softly, their eyes fixed on me. "You know, don't you want to go back to your old world? Hmm?"
These words really startled me. My hands suddenly went limp, and I stared at the person in astonishment. What did he mean by that?
Does he know I'm not the original Nvxin?
The man entered with a light laugh, his dazzling white hair drifting past my eyes.
I took a deep breath, forcing myself to calm down. "No! What do you mean?!"
Wu still smiled faintly at me, but her words were exceptionally hurtful: "I know you are not the original Nv Xin."
I was taken aback, but I remained defiant, "What nonsense are you talking about?!"
Seeing that I didn't admit it or get angry, Wu simply smiled and asked me, "Do you know how to go back to the original world?"
"I don't understand what you're talking about?" I lowered my eyes. "How am I not Nv Xin?"
"You are a soul that Nüxin personally summoned from another world."
The more Wu said it, the more alarmed I became. I never imagined that my secret would be revealed in this way.
