Chapter 329

Lan Qi chuckled, "Why are you thanking me?"

I didn't know how to thank Lan Qi for a moment.

At first, I only flirted with Lan Qi because I found it interesting, but I never developed feelings for him.

Even now, I only feel gratitude towards Lan Qi.

Lan Qi reached out a hand, intending to pat my head, but then changed course and started tidying my clothes.

“I know you haven’t completely let go of Youyuan yet, that’s okay, I can wait.” Lan Qi smiled at me after tidying me up.

"Hmm," I mumbled. Yeah, no rush.

"Shall we go and rest?"

I shook my head. "I can't sleep right now."

"Then I'll stay with you for a while."

"Mm." I nodded.

"Oh right, I was supposed to go buy some food for the little guy today, but I didn't manage to. What kind do you want? I'll send someone to the room to buy it and bring it back."

"Okay." I nodded.

Lan Qi quickly summoned a little imp.

Fortunately, this kid is a modern person, so he understood immediately after I explained it to him.

Lan Qi chatted with me for a few more minutes, then I went back to my room to rest.

I was woken up by a loud noise in my sleep.

I rubbed my eyes. "Huh? What happened?"

Immediately afterwards, there were several more loud noises.

I snapped out of my daze.

Could it be that Youyuan has come knocking on our door?

The more I think about it, the more likely it seems.

I quickly put on my clothes and followed the sound to look for it.

Sure enough, I found it.

The two fighters were locked in a fierce battle in the air, neither managing to score a single point.

"Lin Lu!"

"Xin'er!"

My gaze turned slightly cold. It was Xin'er again!

The two men stopped what they were doing as soon as they saw me come out and landed in front of me.

Lan Qi remained protectively in front of me.

"Lin Lu." His dark eyes still gazed at me with tender affection.

I felt disgusted and sneered inwardly at the person who had just called me Xin'er.

"What are you doing here looking for me?" I looked at You Yuan and sneered. "Oh, right, you're here to see your Nv Xin, aren't you?"

You's lips moved slightly, "No, let me explain."

I didn't want to hear You say anything. "Don't worry, I will return your daughter to you."

As I spoke, I conjured a dagger with magic and plunged it directly into my neck.

It happened so fast that no one could react in time.

Before I collapsed, I saw gushing blood and heard Lan Qi and You Yuan's cries.

No, that's not enough.

This is the only thought that comes to mind when I close my eyes.

I used my last bit of strength to sever all the meridians in my body with my magic. I had originally planned to gather my magic power and self-destruct...

But before I could do anything, I lost consciousness and collapsed to the ground.

I had a very long dream.

I dreamt that I traveled around in another world, where there were many handsome young men.

I also experienced all sorts of dramatic events, and I even gained powerful magic.

When I woke up, I was still in my most familiar home, listening to the professor give a lecture, an ordinary student worrying about the exam as the final exam approached.

I also dreamed of male and female classmates I hadn't seen in a long time.

The finale of my favorite anime.

Suddenly, a strong wind blew up and swept everything away.

I was plunged into darkness again.

When I opened my eyes again, I was still in an antique-style room.

I remember this house; it was prepared for me by Lanqi from Hell.

"Lin Lu, you're awake!" came a chorus of voices from beside the bed.

I tilted my head slightly and saw that it was You Yuan and Lan Qi.

I lowered my eyes. How come I'm not dead yet?

I clearly remember severing all the meridians in my body.

"You're finally awake." Both of them were filled with worry.

I lowered my eyes. "I don't want to see you, Youyuan."

Youyuan was stunned, her face showing extreme hurt. She bit her lip and finally withdrew.

"How did I come back to life?" I was just about to ask Lan Qi how I survived.

Lan Qi simply comforted me, "Don't talk too much, you just woke up and need to rest."

"I..."

“I know you’re anxious.” Lan Qi held my hand. “Let’s talk about it one thing at a time.”

Lan Qi sat in front of me and told me everything in detail.

It turns out that I survived because Lan Qi and You Yuan risked their lives to save me.

It turns out I've been in a coma for over a year; that's quite a long time.

"Lan Qi, thank you."

Lan Qi shouldn't have done so much for me.

"What are you thanking me for?" Lan Qi's smile had a unique beauty. "I'm doing this willingly."

"Oh, right." Lan Qi suddenly stood up as if he had just remembered something. "Wait a minute."

After saying that, Lan Qi got up and rushed out the door.

Youyuan probably remembered what I said, because he never came in again.

I really don't know how to face him; I get emotional whenever I see him.

Lan Qi returned quickly, but this time he had an extra item in his hand.

"Do you remember him?" Lan Qi asked, holding a medium-sized, snow-white dog in his arms.

"Snow White!"

"Mm." Lan Qi nodded, put Bai Xue on the ground, and Bai Xue began to roll around on the ground, barking loudly.

“I’ve had a hard time taking care of him during the year you were gone. You should have been the one taking care of him, but you’ve been hiding in bed and being lazy all the time.”

"Thank you." I realized that besides thanking him, I had nothing else to say to Lan Qi.

"I told you there's no need to be so polite," Lan Qi said with a gentle smile.

"By the way, do you want me to get rid of Youyuan? So you won't be bothered by seeing him."
