Chapter 339

"I...I'm a psychic." I managed to utter this after a long pause.

The appliance store clerk looked at me suspiciously, not really believing me.

I met the young man's suspicious gaze, and I felt a little embarrassed.

Perhaps it was my strange expression that made the appliance delivery guy even less likely to believe me.

"I haven't had much trouble lately, I guess I've just been having some bad luck," the appliance delivery guy said, lowering his eyes and not saying anything more to me.

"Alright then." I gave the appliance delivery guy another long look; he was definitely more than just unlucky.

I went downstairs, and You was organizing her belongings. She had put everything in the right place, and everything was in perfect order.

"You're down?" You looked up at me with a faint smile on her lips.

"Hmm." I nodded and whispered in You's ear, "The guy upstairs seems to be haunted by a ghost."

You Yi was taken aback and nodded slightly, but her face remained expressionless.

I could tell from You's expression that she wasn't interested in this matter.

Oh well, it's just a tiny little ghost, and the people of hell will take care of it, so I won't worry about it.

After You and I finished organizing the daily necessities and set up the doghouse for Bai Xue, the appliance delivery guys were still busy.

"It seems this appliance is going to be difficult to install," I said to You after putting Snow White back in her new doghouse.

"I don't know what those are for?" You looked at the room where the refrigerator and range hood had already been installed.

"You'll find out later." I stood on tiptoe and pinched You's little cheek.

You's confused and bewildered look is just too adorable.

You looked at me and smiled, then reached out and pinched my cheek.

We were arguing when the appliance delivery guy from upstairs came down.

"Sir, Madam, everything is ready. If you have any questions later, just contact our appliance store."

"good."

After I saw the appliance delivery guys off, I watched them drive away.

The huge house was suddenly empty except for You and me, and it became much quieter.

I excitedly pulled You along to show him the appliances that had just been installed in the house.

"This can be used for cooking." I gently turned the button on the gas stove, and a bright flame appeared on the stove.

You raised an eyebrow slightly. "Not bad."

"From now on, the kitchen is all yours." I gently twisted the flame and it went out.

"Okay." You nodded and gently twisted the switch I had just touched, then turned it off after operating it for a while.

I then explained to You the range hood hanging above.

"Isn't it convenient?"

"Hmm, not bad." You nodded in praise.

The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, including a rice cooker, refrigerator, and dishwasher.

I've introduced everything to You one by one. I'll teach You how to use the modern furniture in the remaining areas later.

After seeing the kitchen, You was eager to try cooking.

"How are you? Are you hungry now? Would you like something to eat?"

"Okay." I nodded and took out all the ingredients and placed them on the large table in the middle of the kitchen. "I'll help you."

"OK."

Although I'm supposed to be an assistant, all I can do is cook rice and wash vegetables.

You has excellent knife skills. When cooking, she ties up her hair, and when she lowers her head, stray hairs fall on her face, revealing her straight nose and a firm, angular chin.

"I don't want to eat anymore." I stepped forward, hugged You, and looked up at her.

"Hmm?" You's deep voice was exceptionally charming.

When I looked up, I was met with dark, deep eyes; up close, they were even more captivating.

"I want to eat you," I whispered, my face flushed.

You smiled slightly, leaned down and gave me a light peck on the lips, "Be good~ Wait until tonight."

I stared at You's smiling face, stunned for a moment, and it took me a long time to come back to my senses. I stuck out my tongue and got out of You's arms.

You quickly mastered the kitchen utensils, and plate after plate of dishes were served piping hot.

Three dishes and one soup.

One meat dish and two vegetable dishes: black chicken soup.

"Delicious." I picked up a piece of cold chicken salad and put it in my mouth.

You's skills are getting better and better.

You smiled faintly, "It's good that it tastes good." As she spoke, she picked up a soup spoon and ladled out some soup, "Have some soup first."

I took the bowl from You's hands.

"good."

After dinner, You and I lay sprawled out on the bed.

"Ugh, I feel so full." I touched my slightly bulging belly.

"You've held on?" You turned to the side, supporting her head with one hand and rubbing my stomach with the other.

"Yes, it's all because you made it so delicious."

"Even if it's delicious, you can't eat this much." A helpless look appeared on You's face.

"How about we go for a walk?" Taking a walk after a meal is good for digestion.

Perfect timing! The neighborhood outside is ideal for us to take a walk or go for a run.

"Can."

I struggled to get out of bed, and Bai Xue kept barking around my feet as we were about to leave.

"Okay, I'll take you out too." I squatted down and rubbed Bai Xue's head, then took out the dog leash and pulled Bai Xue along.

This is the human world; you need to bring a leash when you take your dog out for a walk.

"Let's go."

"Hmm." You glanced at Bai Xue, who was restrained by a dog leash, and although she couldn't understand why I would suddenly put a dog leash on Bai Xue, she didn't say anything to me.

The moonlight overhead was beautiful, and a gentle breeze caressed my face.

Many people are out for a walk, either in pairs or alone with their pets.

People jogging at night pass by us from time to time.

You's expression was indifferent, but I could sense a hint of unease in him.

I held You's hand even tighter; this relaxed little face was exactly what I had been longing for.

You seemed to sense my feelings and grasped my hand in return.

At this moment, we are just an ordinary couple in the mortal world.

We have been staying in the mortal realm for three or four days now.

These past few days, I've been staying with Youdai, and there's been no news from the Abyss or the Ruins of Return.

I can only hope that Feng Su won't do anything rash and try to fight Liu Lieyu.

I would be lying to say I'm not worried, but I understand more clearly that Feng Su and Liu Lieyu are not on the same level in terms of martial arts skills.

Unless Liu Lieyu deliberately seeks his own death, how could Feng Su possibly kill him?

"Your Majesty." Yue Ze suddenly appeared before us.

Yue Ze was the one responsible for reporting matters of the Abyss to You.

Before leaving, You gave Yue Ze a magical artifact, allowing him to travel freely between the room and the abyss without being harmed.

"What is it?" Yue Zeyou remained calm in the face of Yue Zeyou's sudden appearance.

"Construction has already begun on the other side of Hell."

You nodded slightly to indicate that she understood. "Okay, is there anything else?"

"Nothing else matters; all is well in the Abyss."

“Hmm.” You nodded and continued, “Keep an eye on Hell.”

"Yes." Yue Ze nodded.

"Is the city wall at the border completed?"

"It's finished, and I've already sent troops to guard the border."

"Alright." You nodded in satisfaction, raised her hand and waved. "You may leave."

After Yue Ze respectfully greeted them, he slowly left the room.
