Chapter 347

"Miss, sir, are you satisfied with this room?" the agent asked.

"Satisfied." I stood on the second floor of the villa, looking at the scenery outside and nodding frantically.

Of all the spiritual medium shops I've visited in the past few days, this one is the most satisfying. It's practically perfect; it's my ideal shop for spiritual mediums.

"How long do you want to rent? Our leases start at one year."

"Let's rent it for a year first."

I'll rent it for a year and see how it goes. If I get tired of it, I'll go somewhere else. I won't stay here forever.

"Okay, here's the contract for you to take a look at." The agent handed me a folder.

I flipped through a few pages before remembering the shadowy figure on the side.

"You, what do you think of this place?" I asked You, pulling her aside.

"If you think it's good, then it's good." You smiled and looked at me against the light.

"Okay." I flipped through the documents, found a place to sit down, and slowly read through them.

So many words, it's giving me a headache.

After I checked it and found no problems, I officially signed the contract and rented the shop.

"I wish you great success in your business." The agent smiled, handed me a set of keys, and left.

"You, what do you think we should name our psychic shop?"

"Name?" You rested her chin on her hand, looking at me. "Changqing?"

The name sounds nice, but it feels a bit strange.

I shook my head. "I don't want that name."

Have you thought it through?

"How about we call it 'Spirit Communication'?" I said with a smile, turning to look at You.

"Either is fine." You had no objections.

"The name is decided, so all that's left is the renovation." I got up and inspected the house again, planning to draw up the design myself and then find a renovation team to do the work.

"Let's go shopping." I stood up and pulled You up with me.

What to buy?

"Buy the things you need to draw the design drafts."

Fortunately, there was a supermarket nearby, so we quickly bought the items.

I started designing and decorating this villa based on the floor plan the agent gave me.

Before I came into this world, I studied interior design, so drawing a design sketch was not difficult for me.

I was so engrossed in drawing the design that I didn't even notice it getting dark outside. Of course, the main reason I didn't notice was because You turned on the light for me.

As I drew the design sketches, You sat opposite me, propping her head up with her hand, watching me draw without the slightest impatience.

The room was extremely quiet, except for the occasional noise coming from outside.

The silence was suddenly broken by the ringing of a cell phone.

"Huh? Who is it?" I was interrupted by the ringing and looked away from the paper to look at the phone lying to the side.

The phone screen displays an incoming call from Zifang.

Zifang hasn't contacted me for so many days, why is she suddenly contacting me today? Could it be that she's figured out that matter?

"Hello?" I put down my pen to answer the phone.

I had the speakerphone on, so You could hear every word Zifang said.

"Nu Xin, I... I've figured it out."

"Hmm? What are you thinking?"

"I think I should keep it from my partner for now."

Zifang's words this time were much more resolute than last time, but I don't think her idea is reliable. How can you hide the child after it's born?

"Hiding it? What about the child?"

“I’ve figured it out. My lover is just a mortal. I have many ways to keep him in the dark. As for the child, I will entrust it to my friend to take care of after it is born. Then, in front of my lover, I will find an ordinary mortal child to raise by my side.”

"Are you kidding me?" What has Wisteria been thinking about these past few days? Has she come up with a terrible idea after thinking about it for days?

“I’m not kidding, I’m absolutely certain.”

I remained silent. Although I did not support Zifang's approach, since she had already made her decision, there was nothing I could say.

"Then, then you, hey, think about it carefully."

"Hmm." Zi Teng's "hmm" was slightly perfunctory, indicating that she had indeed made up her mind.

"By the way, Nvxin, could you come see me?" Zifeng's voice was now tinged with shyness. "This is my first pregnancy, and I'm a little scared."

"Sure, send me your address later and I'll come see you tomorrow."

It's already evening, I'll go see the wisteria again first thing tomorrow morning.

"Okay." Seeing that I agreed, Zi Teng's voice instantly became happier.

I hung up the phone, sighed, and couldn't help but complain to You, "How did Zifeng come up with this idea after thinking about it for days? Giving her own child to a friend to raise? Raising someone else's child herself? What was she thinking? I have to talk to her again tomorrow."

You looked up at me intently, her dark eyes thoughtful. "Don't you find it strange?"

“Strange? What’s strange about it?” I looked into You’s beautiful eyes. “Although her decision was indeed a bit bad, she probably came up with this terrible idea because she didn’t dare tell her boyfriend the truth.”

You shook her head without saying a word, staring intently at my phone, lost in thought.

I didn't pay any attention to You and kept drawing my design. My interior design was almost finished.

I need to finish this before tomorrow.

When I finished the design, the streets outside were completely silent.

I stretched and yawned. "Wow, finally done."

I glanced at the time on my phone; it was already 3 a.m. No wonder it was so quiet.

"You, let's go back." I got up and tidied up my completed design drafts to take with me.

Apart from the tireless streetlights still shining, there were hardly any people left on the streets.

"Shall we hitch a ride back?" You asked, holding my design draft in one hand and pulling me along with the other.

"No, let's just go back." I'm exhausted after a long day and just want to get back as quickly as possible. Hiking is not as fast as using magic.

You chuckled softly, "Didn't we say we wanted to integrate into human society and use human methods?"

"Are I tired?" I asked sweetly as I snuggled into You's arms.

With a slight smile, she picked me up with one hand and said, "Alright, let's take you home."

Before I could even react, still captivated by You's smile, I found myself in my bedroom at home.

Hmm, spells are still more convenient.

"Go take a shower and rest." You put me down and casually placed the design draft in the drawer of the dressing table.

"Okay." I replied and went to the bathroom first.

I quickly washed up, then lay back in bed and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.

The next day, when I woke up, You was no longer beside me. I propped myself up and got up. I could hear the sounds of pots and pans coming from downstairs, so I knew that You had gone to cook for me.

He's the perfect man. It's unbelievable that such a wonderful woman actually belongs to me.

I got out of bed humming a little tune and first looked at the design draft that You had put away yesterday. I felt that some parts could be better.

I watched for a while, then went to wash up, guessing that You's breakfast was almost ready.

There are some parts of the design that need to be revised. I'll revise them after I come back from seeing the wisteria today.
