Chapter 356

"Madam, the meal is ready. Shall we eat now?"

"Hmm." Zifang nodded slightly to indicate that she understood, then turned to look at me. "Shall we eat now?"

"Eat up, I'm starving."

"Let's eat."

After nodding slightly, the aunt quietly left to go to the kitchen to bring out the dishes.

After we had dinner at Zi Teng's house, Zi Teng played with me for a while longer before the sun went down.

"Well, it's getting late, I should head back." I glanced at the time; I'd spent the whole day at Wisteria's house.

"It's so early! Play a little longer, I have plenty of rooms for you to sleep in." When she heard that I was leaving, a look of disappointment appeared on Zi Teng's face, and she tried her best to persuade me to stay.

"No need, I'll come and keep you company another day."

"Alright then." Seeing that I refused, Wisteria had no choice but to stop trying to persuade me. "Remember to come find me again."

"Don't worry, I'll remember. You can call me anytime if you're bored."

"Everyone makes me look for you, can't you just come and play with me on your own?" Wisteria said, her face full of grievance.

"Okay, okay, I'll come to you next time." I smiled and rubbed Zi Teng's face. "But you can't complain that I'm annoying."

"No way, I'm too happy to have you with me."

“Your baby is a little bigger than last time.” I looked down and saw that Wisteria’s belly was slightly protruding compared to last time.

"It's still early." Wisteria smiled and patted her belly.

"It's going very fast." I looked at Zi Teng's belly and couldn't help but feel envious. Looking at it reminded me of my own child.

Sigh, it really wasn't meant to be. If I hadn't gone out that day, maybe that wouldn't have happened, and my child might be hugging my leg and calling me "Mom" by now.

"Then I'm leaving."

"Um."

After saying goodbye to the wisteria, I was in a low mood and couldn't help but sigh when I thought about my former child.

You noticed that I was feeling down, so she didn't bother me. She just held my hand and we walked quietly down the street.

Sigh, I thought about it for a while and quickly recovered from my sadness. When I looked up, I realized that I was surrounded by unfamiliar surroundings.

"Hey, where are we?"

"have no idea."

"Huh?" I looked at You with a confused expression.

"I didn't bother you because I could tell you were in a bad mood. I just followed you wherever you ended up," You explained with a smile.

"Is that so?" I scratched my head sheepishly.

I don't know how long I was spacing out, but somehow I ended up here.

There were few pedestrians around, and the streetlights looked different from those elsewhere, appearing particularly old, while the trees along the roadside were exceptionally tall.

"There don't seem to be any cars around here." You and I waited on the street for a while, but no taxis passed by.

No, no, I absolutely have to buy a car.

I need to go to driving school tomorrow to get a driver's license as soon as possible so I can drive myself.

"There aren't many cars." You glanced at the street side indifferently, without any panic.

"Then we..." I looked up into You's eyes. Since there was no car, there was only one way to get back.

You nodded knowingly and pointed to the grove of trees in front of them. "I checked and there's hardly anyone there, and there are no security cameras either."

Youzhen is like a tapeworm in my stomach...

"Let's go there then." I chuckled and took You's hand, leading her towards the grove of trees ahead.

After avoiding surveillance cameras and passersby, You and I quickly arrived at our home.

"Phew, finally home." As soon as I got home, I couldn't help but collapse onto the bed and never want to get up again.

"By the way, You, let's go to driving school tomorrow."

"Driving school?"

"Yeah, I'll learn to drive and get a driver's license. I want to drive, I want to drive!"

"Okay." You turned her head and looked at me with a smile.

"I'll definitely learn it before you do."

"Are you so sure?" You raised an eyebrow.

Hmm, now that you've asked, I'm not so sure anymore.

I am well aware of You's abilities.

"I.."

"Um?"

"Okay, I'm not sure."

You chuckled softly, "You chickened out so quickly."

I rolled around on the bed, thinking, "You're so amazing, it's not shameful to be a coward in front of you."

You looked at me, and with no other choice, went to the bathroom to wash up.

While You was taking a shower, I contacted the driving school instructor on my phone beforehand to tell him that we would be going to the driving school the next day. After agreeing on a time, I lay in bed and eventually fell asleep.

When I woke up, the sun was shining brightly outside. I yawned, got out of bed, and prepared to wash up first.

You takes many baths every day. She takes a bath before going to bed, before getting up, after cooking, and after coming back from outside.

I once suspected that You might have obsessive-compulsive disorder, but when he was with me, he didn't seem to be so obsessive-compulsive. Sometimes I remember that I was obviously very dirty, covered in dust from playing outside, but You would still hug and kiss me without any disgust. However, he didn't even want to hold hands with other people. Thinking about this, I felt a little smug.

After washing up, I went downstairs and ate the meal that You had carefully prepared. Then I waited for You, and we prepared to go to the driving school together.

Yesterday, I arranged to meet my teacher at 2 PM.

It's 12 o'clock now. It should be a little after You finishes organizing.

The commute takes an hour, and I arrive at the driving school around 2 PM.

"I'm all better." You came downstairs, her body exuding a fresh fragrance.

I put down my phone, skipped and jumped into You's arms, took a deep breath, and then gave You a big kiss on the cheek. "So fragrant."

You stood there casually, letting me do whatever I wanted with her.

"Can we go out now?"

"Okay, let's go." I smiled and took You's hand.

I went out, hailed a car, and prepared to go to the driving school.

When You and I arrived, we had contacted the teacher in advance, so we met the teacher who was responsible for picking us up as soon as we got off the bus.

"Hello, teacher."

"Hmm." When the driving instructor saw You and me, he was slightly taken aback, especially after seeing You, his posture unconsciously became more formal.

"Have you all reviewed the theoretical knowledge?" the driving school instructor asked dryly.

"We've seen it."

"Okay, sure."

The teacher talked as she led us along.

I cooperated with the teacher. You's expression wasn't exactly cold, just indifferent, but the teacher was still a little afraid of You, so he basically didn't call on him. The three of us got along quite well for a while.

But when it came to teaching, a problem arose. It was supposed to be one person, one car, and one teacher, but You refused, saying she wanted to come with me.

The two teachers looked at each other and agreed to You's request.

I sat in the passenger seat first, while You sat in the back. Under You's watchful gaze, the teacher nervously explained things to us.

After watching the teacher's demonstration, I turned to You and said, "You, it's your turn to sit in the front."

"No need, I've got it."

"Then continue." Since You said she remembered, she must have remembered, so I didn't force her to come forward.

"good."

I don't know if it was just my imagination, but I could almost feel the driving school instructor breathing a sigh of relief.
