Chapter 358

The firecrackers finally stopped popping and crackling.

"Fairy, this marks the official opening." Xiao Zhang's smile and excitement were even stronger than mine, the shop owner.

"Yes, thank you for your hard work."

"It's nothing." Xiao Zhang waved his hand. "Fairy, I will definitely help you spread the word."

"Then I'll have to trouble you." I smiled and my eyes narrowed. If Xiao Zhang could promote it, I wouldn't have to worry about business at my shop.

"By the way, Fairy, today is our opening day, you have to treat us to a meal."

"Trying to treat me to dinner?" I looked around at the cheerful-looking people. "Sure, what would you like to eat? Just name it, it's on me."

Ultimately, the chosen location was a hotel, where they would have Chinese food.

The four of us set off in high spirits.

Xiao Zhang was in charge of driving, Qingzhen sat in the passenger seat, and You and I sat in the back.

"You, do you think I should call Wisteria?" I'm really happy today, after all, the psychic shop I've always wanted has opened, and it will definitely be more lively with more people.

"Go ahead and call out if you want." You put one arm around me, and I leaned against her chest, feeling at ease.

"Then I'll send her a message and see if she's coming." With that, I took out my phone, typed a message, and sent it to Zifang.

Zifang doesn't have much to do at home, so she spends her days either watching TV or playing games on her phone. She probably won't miss my messages.

Sure enough, Zifang replied to me shortly after I sent the message.

"You're opening today? What kind of shop did you open? Do you want to eat? Of course! Send me the address."

Zifang agreed. I was worried that it would be inconvenient for her to come out if she was pregnant.

I sent the hotel address to Zifang and asked her to come quickly.

After Zifang replied with an "okay," I put my phone down.

"Oh, right, someone will be coming later, my friend."

"Okay." The two people in the front row said in unison.

I yawned. It looked like it would be a while before we arrived, so I leaned against You's chest and took a short nap.

"Wake up, we're here." You gently patted me, and I woke up.

The car stopped in front of a large hotel. I rubbed my eyes and climbed out of the car, wondering if the wisteria had arrived yet.

"Let's go upstairs and order first."

After we went upstairs, we asked for a private room and sent the room number to Zifang.

Since not everyone had arrived yet, I told the waiter we would order later, and the four of us sat on the sofa eating snacks and fruit while we waited.

Not long after, there was a knock on the door.

The wisteria shouldn't be here that quickly; it must be the waiter.

As soon as the door opened, I saw a familiar outfit: sunglasses, a mask, and a hat covering his face.

"Wisteria!" I jumped up in surprise. "How did you get here so fast?"

"Is it fast?" Wisteria took off her mask and smiled. "I think it's a bit slow."

I smiled and helped Zi Teng take off her sunglasses.

"Wow!!! You are...you are!" came Xiao Zhang's stammering yet excited voice.

Wisteria smiled and looked at Xiao Zhang without saying a word.

"You're that celebrity? Wisteria?" Xiao Zhang finally managed to speak in a complete sentence without stammering.

"Yes, it's me."

Xiao Zhang was incredibly excited. He wanted to share his excitement with the people around him, but when he saw You sitting to his left, he hesitated. He then looked to his right, but Qingzhen only glanced at the wisteria before looking away, showing no signs of excitement.

Looking around, Xiao Zhang had no choice but to suppress his excitement and murmured softly, "That's wisteria! Why am I the only one excited?"

Looking at Xiao Zhang's silly expression, I couldn't help but laugh. If Xiao Zhang knew that he was the only person in this room, wouldn't he go crazy?

"By the way, I haven't asked you yet, what kind of shop do you run? We've been together for so long, and you've never told me?" Wisteria looked at me reproachfully.

"The psychic shop." I chuckled and scratched my head. "Right, everyone's here, please have a seat."

After everyone was seated, the waiter handed us the menu.

After I ordered a few dishes that I liked, I handed the menu to You. You glanced at it and didn't order anything, so she handed it to Zifeng. Zifeng ordered a few light dishes and then handed the menu to Qingzhen. Qingzhen looked at it and, like You, didn't order anything, so she handed it to Xiao Zhang. Xiao Zhang then ordered several dishes.

"What are you doing running a psychic shop?" Zifang asked again after the waiter left.

"Nothing, just bored."

Wisteria could only look at me helplessly and stop asking questions.

The waiter quickly served us the food, and the five of us enjoyed the meal quite harmoniously, even opening a bottle of champagne.

After everyone had their drinks, they prepared to take a ride home, while Xiao Zhang and Zi Teng called a designated driver.

After seeing everyone off at the hotel entrance, only You and I remained.

I didn't drink much, so I'm only slightly tipsy.

"You, let's go home." I looked up and took You's hand as we walked slowly.

"Aren't you going to take a taxi?"

"No, I want to take a walk. Will you come with me?"

You chuckled, "I won't accompany you no matter what you do."

"Yes, you've been with me the whole time. You're the best."

It was sunset, and the sky was ablaze with the afterglow of the setting sun, leaving a trail of light over the city.

I walked silently with You in the sunset.

After walking for a while, I suddenly realized that I didn't remember the way home.

"You, do you know the way home?"

Silence.

Alright, even You doesn't know.

"So, which way should we go?"

You turned her head and slowly said, "I'll go with you."

"I was clearly going with you, okay?" I promptly shifted the blame.

Sigh, we've been walking around for ages and still don't know where we're going, just wandering aimlessly.

"Forget it, let's just hitch a ride."

"good."

Since we didn't know the way, we decided to hitchhike home.

In the car, I leaned against You, and fell asleep again, inhaling her familiar fragrance.

When I woke up again, it was already late at night, and I was lying in my own bed.

I blinked and finally came to my senses. I saw that I hadn't changed my clothes or taken a shower. At first, I didn't think much of it, but when I glanced at You next to me, who was wearing pajamas and smelling nice, I knew that You must have showered.

I suddenly felt so dirty.

I gave myself a disgusted sniff and then went to the bathroom to wash up.

After washing up, I smelled just as good as You, but my hair wasn't dry. You was sleeping, and I didn't want to use a hairdryer, nor was I bothered to use magic, so I just lay down on the edge of the bed and let my hair air dry.

"Why didn't you dry your hair?" I heard You's voice as soon as I lay down.

"hold head high?"

Then, after hearing a rustling sound, You came over to me. Her cool hand stroked my hair, which had been dripping wet, and it was now dry.

Since my hair was dry, I stopped lying on the edge of the bed and rolled back onto the bed to rest my head on the pillow.

"Lazy." You gently pinched my nose.

I chuckled and then hugged Youjing's strong body to sleep.
