Chapter 379

"Okay." Jiao'er nodded.

"Let's go, let's go."

After leaving the barbarian mansion, Jiao'er and I headed straight for Yongtai Pavilion. Sun and Moon City was as bustling as ever.

"By the way, have you ever heard of a woman named Leng Ning in Qingyuan?" Jiao'er and I chatted idly as we walked along the road.

"Leng Ning?" Jiao'er glanced at me, then lowered her brows in thought. "Is she the one Feng Su likes?"

"Exactly."

"Leng Ning? Qingyuan?" Jiao'er asked slowly, waving her fan. "I haven't heard anything about Qingyuan lately."

"How about we go for a stroll in Qingyuan after dinner?" I was thinking of going to Qingyuan to see Leng Ning; maybe she would have news of Feng Su.

"Sure, we haven't seen each other in so long. I'll do whatever you want." Jiao'er looked at me with a gentle smile.

Since our last meeting at the hotel, I haven't heard from Feng Su again.

Sigh, I'm really conflicted about Feng Su's feelings. I understand how he feels, and I naturally won't bother him, but I still want to know how he's doing now, and I hope he's doing well.

Jiao'er and I chatted all the way until we arrived at the entrance of Yongtai Pavilion.

"arrive?"

"Let's go."

Jiao'er and I entered Yongtai Pavilion with ease, and the waiter immediately came to greet us.

"Greetings, gentlemen." The waiter smiled broadly at me, looked me up and down, and then said, "This young lady hasn't been here for a while."

"I haven't been free lately, so I haven't been able to come."

Haha, even the waiters at Yongtai Pavilion recognize me now.

"I knew it! Please come again soon, sir. If there's anything you don't like about Yongtai Pavilion, just let us know." The waiter smiled broadly.

"Okay." I nodded. "The food at Yongtai Pavilion is quite good."

"Would you prefer your usual seat, sir?"

"Yes, that's the one on the second floor." I smiled and pointed to the room upstairs that I used to frequent.

The waiter led me and Jiao'er upstairs and handed each of us a menu, saying, "Take a look, you two."

"Okay." I chose a few dishes that I usually order, and Jiao'er chose a few more, and that was about it.

Yongtai Pavilion served the dishes quite quickly, and all the dishes were served in no time.

Jiao'er and I chatted while eating, and from our second-floor seats, we could see people coming and going downstairs.

I caught a glimpse of Yue Jiao by chance. Huh? What a coincidence?

I glanced at Jiao'er across the street, who was eating with her head down, and selectively ignored Yuejiao downstairs. If I called out, wouldn't I become a third wheel?

Fortunately, Yuejiao only passed by downstairs in a hurry and did not look up, so I didn't have to be a third wheel.

But what was Yuejiao going to do? I looked at Yuejiao's hurried departure and pondered deeply.

After having dinner, Jiao'er and I rested briefly at Yongtai Pavilion before heading to Qingyuan.

I used to come to Qingyuan to hang out with Feng Su, and the room I visited was the one Feng Su usually stayed in. I didn't come to Qingyuan by myself very often.

"Gentlemen." A man dressed in a blue robe with a blue belt stepped forward to greet us.

I nodded. People who haven't been to Qingyuan in so long don't recognize me anymore? Now I'm greeted by blue-belt waiters.

The man stepped forward and looked me up and down. "Miss, are you a regular customer of Qingyuan?"

Perhaps it was because Feng Su's striking blonde hair wasn't with me this time that they didn't recognize me.

"I've been here before."

After looking at me and Jiao'er, the man led us up to the second floor and whispered a few words to another waiter wearing a blue belt.

"Please follow me, both of you." The room this person led me to was indeed not the room I used to frequent.

The layout and furnishings are much worse than before, but I don't care about that, as long as I can see Leng Ning.

"Would you two like something to drink?"

"Just bring whatever you like."

I sat down and watched the performance on the stage. Actually, I felt sleepy after watching for only a short while.

I yawned and squinted. Why isn't Leng Ning here yet?

I squinted and looked for a while, but I still couldn't see Leng Ning.

Qingyuan's rules are that they never reveal the performances or performers, so I can only wait and see.

I glanced at my daughter beside me. She seemed to be having a great time, while I felt incredibly bored. I'd rather stay home and play on my phone.

Several performers changed on stage, but Leng Ning was still nowhere to be seen.

I sighed and stretched.

"If you clearly don't want to see these things, why did you come to Qingyuan?" Jiao'er noticed my impatience.

“I don’t want to see this, but I want to find Leng Ning.” I sighed.

"Looking for Leng Ning? If you want to find Leng Ning, next time you see her, you can give her more tips, and then you can arrange to meet her privately," Jiao'er suggested to me.

“I know about this, but I’ve never met Leng Ning in private before because Feng Su wouldn’t let me see her. So I’ve never met Leng Ning.”

"In that case, I don't know if Leng Ning will be able to come out today." Jiao'er immediately understood when she heard me say that.

"Sigh." I sighed. "I used to think Qingyuan wasn't this boring, but now it just seems so pointless."

"How could that be?" Jiao'er tilted her head and glanced at me. "I think it's great."

"If you ever went to the mortal realm, you'd know how boring it is here," I said lazily, sinking into my chair.

Putting everything else aside, just talking about mobile phones is fun enough. They have powerful functions, and all kinds of games, movies, and anime are much more interesting than what's on stage.

Before I went to the mortal world, I thought I could appreciate these things, but after seeing better ones, they no longer catch my eye.

"Is the mortal world really that fun?" Jiao'er became even more curious after I said that.

"Of course." I nodded and began to recommend it to Jiao'er.

After I chatted with Jiao'er for a few minutes, the expression on Jiao'er's face became more and more curious.

"Once you and Yuejiao have settled your affairs, I'll take you to the mortal realm to play." With that, I made a promise to Jiao'er.

"good."

"You watch first." Seeing that Jiao'er was still interested in the performance on stage, I didn't disturb her any further.

"Mm." Jiao'er nodded, focusing intently on the performance below the stage.

I lazily nestled in my chair. You hadn't come to find me yet, which meant that You hadn't finished dealing with her matters.

"If Leng Ning comes out, call me."

"Okay, you can go to sleep."

I forced myself to stay awake and watched for a while longer before falling asleep.

I slept until I naturally woke up, and the audience was still making noises. I glanced at Jiao'er, who was still watching intently.

I yawned. Although the Qingyuan Garden was brightly lit, the Abyss was always dark and time was not visible, so I had no idea how long I had slept.

"My dear, how long have I been asleep?"

"Huh? You're awake?" Jiao'er turned her head to look at me when she heard my voice.

"Hmm, did I sleep for a long time?"

"It's been a while, and the plays in Qingyuan have changed several times."
