"So you did come after all." Man Jiu, who hadn't moved for a long time, finally revealed a different expression and said in a deep voice with a serious face.
The man in red didn't reply, but used his magic to leap lightly onto the arena. "Make your move."
"City Lord Qingcheng, please go first." Man Jiu snorted coldly, shifting his feet slightly and tightening his grip on the spiked club with a seriousness he had never shown before.
The man smiled alluringly, and with a light, airy motion, used his inner energy as a sword to thrust straight at Man Jiu.
The Lord of Qingcheng? Qingcheng? Why does that name sound so familiar? After a moment of contemplation, I suddenly realized and pulled out the map from my pocket. Sure enough, my next target was Yue Jiao, the Lord of Qingcheng.
I wondered if the person on the stage was the Yuejiao I was looking for. As I was pondering this, I heard the little demons talking amongst themselves.
"Why is the City Lord of Qingcheng here too?"
"Don't you know?"
"Know what?"
"The Lord of Qingcheng has long been in a relationship with our Lord's daughter."
"How could that be? Qingcheng and our Lingcheng are sworn enemies!"
"Yeah, that's right, you're lying!"
"How could I lie to you? My second aunt's neighbor's granddaughter works for the city lord's mansion!"
"Yeah?"
"You still don't believe me? I'll tell you this secret today!"
"Tell me quickly, tell me quickly."
Upon hearing about some gossip, my gossip spirit was instantly ignited, and I listened intently.
"You all know that the young lady of the Lingcheng City Lord went missing for a period of time back then, right?"
