Twenty-six

"What did you say?" Liu Lieyu's narrow eyes narrowed slightly, revealing a hint of coldness.

I chuckled, tiptoed forward, and leaned close to Liu Lieyu's ear, "Do you know why I changed my mind and chose You? Because... he... is... cleaner... than... you."

Upon hearing this, Liu Lieyu's body stiffened abruptly, his chill intensified, and a surge of anger rose within him. A perfect opportunity!

I seized the opportunity to strike Liu Lieyu with all my might and then ran away. You Ben had been paying close attention to me the whole time, and his reaction was extremely fast; he immediately rushed towards me.

I ran forward as fast as I could, and Liu Lieyu quickly reacted. I could feel the earth-shattering rage behind me.

Three steps, two steps, closer, You is already in front of me, one step!

I finally returned to that warm embrace, still filled with that familiar fragrance. You put one arm around me, and with the other, she exchanged blows with Liu Lieyu behind me; the two were evenly matched.

Wow, You is really strong.

You hugged me and moved me to a safe distance before putting me down.

"Hehe, come and hit me!" As soon as I got back to You's side, I felt smug and made a smug face at the furious Liu Lieyu across from me.

Liu Lieyu has virtually no weaknesses. His only weakness, besides me, is that he's extremely sensitive about others calling him dirty, especially if I say so. Before Liu Lieyu regained his memories of his past life, it was alright; at most, he was a little disgusted with himself. But after Liu Lieyu regained his memories, this became his Achilles' heel.

Liu Lieyu was, after all, the esteemed Eastern Emperor. Who in the world didn't know him? Who wouldn't respect him? Yet, he was relegated to the mortal realm and became a lowly snake demon. I even tricked him into becoming a lowly woman, desperately trying to accumulate vital energy. To do so, he seduced countless women—the number is uncountable. For hundreds of years, he was doing this.

This incident reminded Liu Lieyu, who later regained his memory, of a shameful dark history that anyone who mentioned it would die. It would be strange if he didn't go crazy if I were to bring it up like this.

"Nv Xin! Good! Very good!" Liu Lieyu sneered, his narrow eyes narrowed, revealing a bloodthirsty coldness. He squeezed out these words one by one from between his teeth, clearly furious with me.

"What did you say to him?" You asked, lowering her eyes.

“I said, my favorite character is You. You can’t even compare to a single strand of You’s hair.”

You clearly appreciated what she heard. Although she said it was nonsense, the wide grin that stretched almost to the back of her head betrayed her.

Well, it wasn't really that exaggerated, but You could tell she was quite happy after hearing what I said, and the atmosphere around her relaxed.

"Your Majesty, should we immediately annihilate Liu Lieyu?" asked one of You's generals, who was wearing armor and holding a pagoda.

Could it be Li Jing?

You nodded in agreement.

It seems Liu Lieyu is doomed this time. It's safe to say that every celestial being in Heaven hates Liu Lieyu. Previously, after regaining his memories, Liu Lieyu wanted to reunify the world and bring the three realms into the Void. The reason the mortal realm fell was because of Liu Lieyu.

"You think these people can kill me?" Liu Lieyu didn't even lift his eyelids as he looked at the Heavenly Clan rushing towards him.

A golden light rose from Liu Lieyu's chest, growing ever brighter, as if illuminating the entire celestial realm.

The golden light rose into the air, and I squinted to see it, vaguely making out a shape that resembled a bell.

Could it be the Eastern Emperor Bell?

My heart sank, and I was just about to call those heavenly beings back.

With a long, powerful "dong," the bell rang out, and I felt a surge in my dantian, causing me to vomit blood.

Oh my god, I'm such a weakling!

"Xin'er, be careful." You quickly protected me when she saw this. Only then did I calm down and look at the middle of the battlefield. The bell had not stopped ringing, and many immortals had already fallen.

When the first bell rang, very few immortals remained standing on the ground, creating a scene of utter desolation. Seven out of ten immortals lay on the ground, their fate unknown.

You protected the weakling me and coldly watched Liu Lieyu without stepping forward. You must also be somewhat wary of the Eastern Emperor Bell.
