Chapter 14 A Left Hand

"Who!" Wang Yan shouted, his folding fan instantly striking behind him.

The folding fan circled around and returned to his hand.

Wang Yan turned around and took several steps back.

Look closely, there's no one around where I was standing, except for that rotting corpse.

At that moment, he suddenly felt something on his neck.

Wang Yan's body stiffened slightly, and he dared not move.

He gave Su Diandian a forced smile: "Miss Su, I'd like to trouble you to help me out."

As he finished speaking, a large, bony hand suddenly slapped him across the face.

Su Diandian moved closer and carefully examined the hand.

This is a separate left hand; there is a clean cut at the wrist.

The severed hand didn't smell rotten; instead, it had a pleasant fragrance.

On her little finger, she wore a thin, plain ring.

Wang Yan secretly raised his hand, trying to grab the large hand.

But the next moment, the large hand, using its fingers as legs, quickly moved to Su Diandian's shoulder.

Su Diandian turned to look at the large hand and smiled, "You look very impressive."

He waved his large hand, looking rather arrogant.

Wang Yan smiled, but secretly flicked the folding fan in his hand.

A sharp red blade slashed towards Su Diandian and the big hand.

Su Diandian sensed something, but made no attempt to avoid it.

But that big hand, its five fingers bouncing back and forth.

She's obviously angry.

When the red light arrived, the giant hand flicked its finger and shattered it.

Immediately afterwards, the large hand flicked into the air and swung directly at Wang Yan's face.

Wang Yan was caught off guard and was slapped dozens of times.

Before he could react, the large hand pulled out a vine from somewhere and tied him up tightly.

After tying it up, he took the other end of the vine and stuffed it into Su Diandian's hand in a flattering manner.

"What do you mean by this?" Wang Yan asked, managing to maintain a smile.

Su Diandian shrugged. "It's none of my business."

Wang Yan narrowed his eyes, a murderous intent hidden within. "Why bother pretending?"

He had barely finished speaking when a large hand stuffed a pine cone into his mouth.

Wang Yan: "Mmm..."

The big hand bounced around happily for a couple of moments, then jumped back onto Su Diandian's shoulder, rubbing her face back and forth.

Su Diandian asked in confusion, "This... beautiful hand, do we know each other?"

The large hand jumped to the ground, fanned away the pile of fallen leaves, then picked up a twig and wrote a word.

"Zuo?" Su Diandian pronounced the word. "Is that your name?"

He bent his index finger in response.

"Hello Xiao Zuo, my name is Su Diandian." Su Diandian introduced herself.

Then she remembered her important task, "Xiao Zuo, could you please take me to find the most powerful guy here?"

Xiao Zuo drew an arrow pointing west directly on the ground.

Su Diandian dragged Wang Yan along like she was pulling a dog, heading west.

Wang Yan protested with a series of "woo-woo-woo-woo" sounds.

During this time, he tried to escape, but each time he was slapped by Xiao Zuo.

Wang Yan secretly vowed that once he was freed, he would exact revenge tenfold.

However, he felt very strange.

This place is fraught with danger; there hasn't been a moment of peace since we entered.

But ever since I saw that damned left hand, the danger seems to have vanished.

Su Diandian didn't pay any attention to these details.

Led by Xiao Zuo, she walked westward for a full two hours.

Until a low, rocky hill came into view in the distance.

At the foot of the rocky mountain, there is a deep pool of water.

Xiao Zuo circled around behind Wang Yan and flicked his finger.

The next second, Wang Yan fell into the spring.

She asked, "Xiao Zuo, do you mean you want me to jump?"

The little left index finger is bent to indicate "yes".

Su Diandian, without suspecting anything, jumped directly into the pool.

There were no fish or shrimp in the water, and not even any algae could be seen.

After sinking a certain distance, the light disappeared.

Xiao Zuo pulled Su Diandian, and Su Diandian dragged the bound Wang Yan as they sank deeper into the depths.

Wang Yan had already fainted at this point.

Su Diandian, on the other hand, was completely unaffected.

She can breathe underwater.

Otherwise, she wouldn't be in such a desperate situation where she couldn't even die.

Suddenly, a glimmer of light appeared from the depths of the pool.

Su Diandian followed the light.

Closer, even closer.

She was stunned when she saw the light clearly.

Lu Jian?

How did he end up here?

At this moment, Lu Jian's eyes were closed, and he seemed to have lost consciousness.

Xiao Zuo rushed to Lu Jian's side and shook his head vigorously.

Lu Jian slowly woke up and looked at Xiao Zuo with gentle eyes.

Xiao Zuo dragged Wang Yan, who was tied up like a rice dumpling, in front of him and pushed him towards him like a treasure.

Lu Jian shook his head: "Thank you, but it's not necessary..."

"What do you mean it's unnecessary?" Su Diandian's curiosity was piqued.

"Who?" Lu Jian looked up warily.

The two locked eyes.

Lu Jian chuckled self-deprecatingly, then whispered to Xiao Zuo, "Was it an illusion you created? Thank you."

Xiao Zuo tapped his forehead with his finger.

Lu Jian instantly regained consciousness, then his eyes widened in shock.

He stared at Su Diandian in disbelief, and whispered, "Su Diandian, Su Diandian, is it really you?"
