Su Diandian felt as if she had been electrocuted and quickly pulled her hand back.
After withdrawing her hand, she grabbed the brocade quilt at her feet and wiped her hands and claws clean.
Just then, she felt something under the quilt.
She glanced down and saw a centipede taking a nap.
That explains why I haven't seen it before.
So it turns out it's nocturnal and hiding here taking a nap!
Su Diandian shook the centipede awake.
The shrunken centipede lazily propped up its upper body and glanced at her.
She desperately tried to signal to the centipede: Xiao Wu, it's up to you, poison him until he's unconscious!
The centipede nodded to her and quickly crawled toward Shan Yun.
It moved extremely fast, and in a flash it had already climbed to the ankle of the cloud, raised its jaws and claws and stung it hard.
The centipede didn't linger; it stung and ran away, quickly climbing onto the top of Su Diandian's hair.
Shan Yun frowned and shook the hand that was pulling at her clothes.
"My wife...you poisoned me..."
Before he could finish speaking, he had already collapsed onto the bed with a "thud".
Su Diandian jumped for joy, "Little Wu, well done!"
"I...I'm amazing, my poison is amazing!" the centipede replied cheerfully.
"Xiao Wu, give him a hand and tie him up." Su Diandian casually pulled down the innermost gauze curtain and handed it to the centipede.
The centipede grew its body slightly larger and began to bind the shimmering clouds by pulling on the gauze curtain.
After it tied her up, Su Diandian realized something was wrong.
The way the rope was tied was so strange, but she couldn't quite put her finger on what was so strange about it.
"Xiao Wu, who taught you this way of tying people up?" she asked the centipede, tilting her head.
The centipede moved its legs and pulled out a book from somewhere.
"Wow? Little Wu, you can read?" Su Diandian took the book from the centipede's hand with considerable surprise.
But after turning just two pages, her face turned green.
This book is clearly... is...
She reached out and tapped the centipede's head. "Little Wu, you're going astray! Where did you find this strange book? Is this a book a beneficial insect like you should be reading?"
"Looking at books with this kind of color too much can turn beneficial insects into pests!"
The centipede frantically thrashed its legs, crying out, "The red clothes are going to burn... I found them..."
Su Diandian stopped what she was doing. "Red clothes? Sang Huo?"
That makes sense. Sang Huo is a beautiful ghost, so it's perfectly normal for her to carry such a book with her.
She sighed, "Xiao Wu, what else did you pick up from the red dress? Show it to me."
Upon hearing this, the centipede shook its upper body.
Things kept falling out of it.
Coloring books, joy pillows, stuffing...
With each item that fell out, Su Diandian's eyes widened a little more.
This...this...
She picked one up with two fingers and then tossed it forward with disgust.
Surprisingly, the thing went straight through the bed curtains and landed on the floor.
The barrier created by Shan Yunting has failed!
Su Diandian was overjoyed, "Xiao Wu, come on, I'll take you outside to see the scenery, it's absolutely gorgeous."
Just as she was about to get down, Shan Yunting, who was tied up, suddenly leaned against her shoulder.
"So this is what my wife likes..."
Su Diandian dodged to the side, "What are you doing?"
"Hiss..." Shan Yun hissed softly, black blood spilling from the corner of his lips.
"The venom of this imperial centipede is truly unparalleled in the world; even I am somewhat afraid of it."
The centipede proudly twisted its upper body, "That's... of course, Little Wu... super poisonous."
Su Diandian crossed her arms and mocked Shan Yunting: "Oh, oh, oh, didn't I hear that you had the cultivation of the Nascent Soul stage a hundred years ago?"
"You must be at the peak of the Nascent Soul stage by now, right? You're even afraid of Little Wu's poison."
Shan Yun lay back on the bed, looking intently at her, "I saw you exchanging glances with this imperial centipede for so long, I really couldn't bear to disappoint you."
"However, it's fortunate that she was poisoned, otherwise I wouldn't have known that my wife had such a taste."
His gaze swept over the items that had fallen off the bed.
Su Diandian couldn't stand his gaze. "Get lost! I'm not into that kind of thing!"
As she spoke, she swept the oddly shaped pile of things off the bed with her hands.
Damn it, if Sang Huo wants to burn something, why can't he just watch over it and burn it all?
Why did it have to be the naive Xiao Wu who picked him up?
And why did it have to be exposed and seen by that bastard Shan Yunting?
"Heh... alright." Shan Yun paused, staring at her, black blood still trickling from the corner of his lips. "If my wife says it's not good, then... it's not good..."
Seeing the black blood flowing out heavily, Su Diandian asked the centipede with some concern, "Little Wu, will your poison kill him?"
The centipede tilted its head. "Poison, isn't that just... poisoning the prey?"
Su Diandian gave a thumbs up, "Xiao Wu, what you said makes perfect sense. Poison means poisoning the prey."
But Shan Yunting, that bastard, isn't prey either!
She didn't want him to die.
Su Diandian grabbed the clothes that Shan Yunting had taken off and started rummaging through them.
"As a dignified Immortal Supervisor, you should carry some kind of antidote pill with you, right?"
Shan Yun stared at her. "Wife, are you worried about me?"
"Shut up, where's your storage bag?" Su Diandian said, having already turned her storage bag over.
She started rummaging through her storage bag, and the first thing she pulled out was a rolled-up piece of letter paper.
It's useless, just throw it away.
The letter paper was scattered all over the floor.
The centipede tilted its head and asked innocently, "Did you also pick something up from...from the red clothes?"
"Who? What are you picking up?" Su Diandian followed the centipede's gaze.
Good heavens, the stack of scattered letters was full of drawings of her, all dressed in very revealing clothes.
