Soon, Su Chaoyang noticed something was wrong. "What's wrong with you? Why are you crying for no reason?"
With her mouth full of rice, Su Diandian shook her head and mumbled, "It's the onions, the onions caused it."
Xu Weiying tore off a napkin to wipe her tears. "Wife, don't cry... Next time, I won't put onions in it."
"Mmm." Su Diandian nodded, her voice trembling with tears.
Lunchtime finally came, and Su Diandian stood up, looking at her "family" with reluctance.
"Mom and Dad, older brother and sister, can Diandian hug you?" She smiled.
Su Chaoyang responded first, "Of course, Dian Dian will always be her parents' precious child."
Su Diandian hugged each of her family members one by one before finally taking a deep breath and walking up to Xu Weiying.
"Xu Weiying, come upstairs with me." She said calmly.
Xu Weiying watched her retreating figure as she went upstairs first, her brows gradually furrowing, yet slowly relaxing again.
Then he quickly stepped forward and walked alongside her.
"Honey, don't be angry. I promise I won't put onions in it next time."
He coaxed her softly.
Su Diandian didn't say a word and just walked towards her room.
After the two entered the room, Su Diandian whispered, "Close the door."
Xu Weiying turned around and closed the door. "Wife, what's wrong with you?"
Su Diandian looked at him intently, "I am very grateful to you for letting me see my family so realistically again."
Xu Weiying's expression stiffened slightly, and she reached out to take her hand, "Wife, what are you saying?"
"Enough! Stop acting!" Su Diandian growled. "Xu Weiying, what exactly do you want to do by trapping me here?"
