The person in front of him, dressed in a white gown and radiating dazzling light, looked exactly like his younger brother, Asher.
The difference is that this person has golden hair and golden eyes, and his whole body exudes an unsightly holy aura.
No! Not Asher!
Lucius gritted his teeth, drew his dagger, and charged forward.
Su Diandian was engrossed in shining her light into people's eyes when she heard a loud bang from the other side.
She quickly turned her head to look and saw that Lucius was fighting the glowing thing.
Since I can't get involved anyway, I might as well just watch the show.
But as soon as she got closer, she saw the face of the guy who was glowing all over.
It looks familiar... but something feels off.
It feels like I've seen it somewhere before.
Su Diandian couldn't remember for a moment, so she could only stare intently at the person opposite her.
When Chu Xingze opened his eyes and saw the radiant face on the other side of the barrier, a surge of jealousy immediately welled up in his heart.
He chased after her and turned Su Diandian's face around, saying, "Don't look! Am I not as handsome as him?"
Su Diandian snapped out of her daze and said with a forced smile, "You're handsome, you're the most handsome. I just looked at him a few more times because he looked familiar."
"Familiar?" Chu Xingze took a deep breath. "Su Dian, you didn't offend people from the Western magic world too, did you?"
Su Diandian really wanted to say no, but she couldn't bring herself to say it.
In the end, all I could do was laugh awkwardly to cover up my embarrassment.
Chu Xingze's eyes widened. "You really hooked up with someone from the Western magic world? Who? Who is it? Black or white, which one?!"
Only after his reminder did Su Diandian remember to search through the system information in her mind.
She glanced at the information and then at the blond man casting the spell across from her.
"Ashcher?"
However, the hair color doesn't match.
The information describes Asher as having black hair and black eyes.
No wonder Lucius made a move!
But it was obvious to anyone with eyes that Lucius was already at his last gasp.
Su Diandian, puzzled, glanced at the documents a few more times.
Goodness, there's even a small note inside.
The information states that after Asher's descent into sainthood, his body was transformed, and he became the new supreme leader of the Holy Light Court, the Holy Lord of Light.
But what the heck is this "holy descent"?
Su Diandian put away the documents and shouted to the other side, "Hey, we're all from the same root, why are you fighting each other so fiercely? We're all born of the same mother, why are you fighting so hard?"
As soon as she spoke, Asher and Lucius turned to look at her at the same time.
That look in his eyes, that expression...
Chu Xingze couldn't bear it any longer and said, "Su Dian, you're really something, you've got both of them."
Su Diandian laughed awkwardly, "This...that...how should I put it..."
"No need to say anything more." Chu Xingze silenced her with a kiss.
Hmph, anyway, those two on the other side are visible but untouchable and unattainable.
They'll be furious.
Su Diandian raised both hands, not daring to move.
Lucius and Asher exchanged a glance, both reading jealousy in each other's eyes.
Lucius stood on the dolphin's back, clutching his chest. "Lord of Light, what have you done to my brother Asher?"
Asher looked down at him, her eyes filled with pity. "Lucius, I am Asher. Let go of your obsessions and stay away from the darkness."
"Pah! Asher and I are both from the shadows, it couldn't possibly be you. You stole Asher's body, didn't you?"
Lucius gritted his teeth, wishing he could tear the person in front of him to pieces immediately.
After the kiss, Chu Xingze looked provocatively at the two men on the other side of the barrier.
Su Diandian then helped him to the side, saying, "You can stay here without worry. I have something to discuss with the other side."
Chu Xingze gave a soft snort and turned his head away.
"Um, Asher, right? Please repair the barrier," Su Diandian said loudly.
Asher turned to look at her, a smile appearing on his lips. "Long time no see."
Su Diandian waved her hand, "Let's not dwell on the past, let's take care of business first."
Asher nodded and began chanting a spell.
Do even the top players have to have such a long wind-up before unleashing their attacks?
What a waste of time.
Aren't you afraid that someone might suddenly attack you while you're singing a pre-rock song?
Just as Su Diandian was speechless, strange laughter suddenly came from the other side of the barrier.
"Hehehehe..."
That's such an old-fashioned laugh.
Su Diandian looked up and saw a large patch of dark clouds looming over her.
Hundreds of people were gathered in the dark clouds.
The leader was tall and shrouded in a black robe.
His dark cloud and black robe concealed his true identity.
Without uttering a word, Asher charged forward, enveloped in a blinding light.
Despite the overwhelming numbers of the dark forces, Asher showed no signs of defeat.
Su Diandian watched with great interest from this side of the barrier.
Watching the battle between the two major forces in the Western magical world through the barrier was simply spectacular.
What's the difference between this and watching a high-definition 3D movie?
She slapped her thigh and exclaimed, "My God, at a time like this, there aren't any sunflower seeds to eat! What a waste!"
Just as Su Diandian was feeling regretful, Chu Xingze handed her a paper bag.
Su Diandian took a look and her eyes lit up immediately.
"Guazi! Oh my god, Little Star, you're so sweet." She gave Chu Xingze a quick kiss on the cheek.
Asher happened to witness this scene, and in a moment of distraction, he was struck by the black aura.
Chu Xingze peeled melon seeds and fed them to Su Diandian: "These spirit sunflower seeds are grown in Yuheng Palace. If you like them, you can come back to Yuheng Palace with me..."
On the other side of the barrier, Asher used the power of light to annihilate the forces of darkness, and several dark figures fell from the clouds into the sea.
The leader of the black-robed men curled his fingers into claws and grabbed Lucius from the dolphin's back.
"Ashcher! Withdraw your light magic! Or I'll kill Lucius."
