Lena was petite, and the greatsword seemed especially heavy in her hands.
Su Diandian could sense the immense energy contained within the giant sword simply by observing the vibrations in the air.
When Asher saw the giant sword, his expression changed. "Lena, why would you use the Holy Sword of Light?"
This is Lena's strongest move; she really intends to kill Su Diandian.
Asher stepped forward to block Su Diandian, ready to parry her attack.
Su Diandian stepped forward and blocked his way, saying, "Let me do it myself."
She was extremely curious whether the West's ultimate move could send her packing.
Asher was about to say something, but Su Diandian stopped her with a single sentence, "Asher, you don't believe me?"
“I believe you.” Asher ultimately did not step forward.
Seeing that Su Diandian dared to be so arrogant, Lena couldn't help but smile sarcastically.
"Go...to die!"
The giant sword finally came crashing down.
Su Diandian showed no intention of dodging, simply raising her head and letting the giant sword cleave down on her.
Just as the sword's edge drew near, she sighed softly, "As expected, you're no good either."
It's an illusion; the giant sword only looks terrifying on the surface.
This thing is just for show.
A burst of purple-gold lightning flashed out, weaving a lightning barrier onto Su Diandian's skin.
"Bang!" The giant sword crashed into the lightning barrier and was bounced far, far away.
Lena also threw herself out.
"Why?" she stubbornly got up. "Why? The Holy Sword of Light has such powerful strength, yet it couldn't even harm a single hair on your head?"
"Ashcher! It must be Asher who secretly helped you!"
Asher's brows relaxed, and he said calmly, "Lena, don't overestimate yourself or underestimate others."
"She's just a piece of trash from the Eastern cultivation world! She can't possibly withstand the Holy Sword of Light!" Lena's face twisted in disgust.
Upon hearing this, Su Diandian was delighted.
She originally didn't intend to argue with the child, but this guy's slander of the Eastern cultivation world was absolutely unacceptable!
Su Diandian glanced at Asher and slowly walked up to Lena.
"Idiot! When your god descended into your body, didn't he instill any intelligence in you?"
"Huh? Or is it that your brain is too small to hold something as sophisticated as intelligence?"
His opening remarks were a critical hit.
Lena wanted to retort, but didn't know where to begin.
"You! You piece of Eastern trash!" That's the only phrase he keeps repeating.
Su Diandian reached out and grabbed the staff directly into her own hand.
After studying it for a while, she spoke again: "This thing is real garbage."
As she spoke, she gently snapped the staff in two.
Lena's eyes widened, and she raised her hand to slap her.
The moment he raised his hand, Su Diandian grabbed it.
Su Diandian smiled, her eyes narrowed. "Little one, let me teach you! There are many kinds of trash."
"Wet waste, dry waste, recyclable waste, and hazardous waste."
"Someone like you would be considered hazardous waste."
Lena's face flushed bright red. "You! You dare to humiliate me! The Holy Light Court will not let you get away with this!"
"Oh, you won't let me go?" Su Diandian turned to look at Asher.
Asher firmly shook his head.
Seeing him so protective of Su Diandian, Lena completely broke down.
Her flat chest heaved violently. "Ashcher! Don't forget! This Holy Light doesn't belong to you alone!"
Asher looked at her coldly, without even responding.
Lena said sternly, "Fine, you wait. I'll go and call the High Priest over to see how you revealed the secrets of the Holy Light to outsiders."
Asher remained calm and composed. "She's not an outsider; she's my wife."
Lena's voice was accusatory: "Have you forgotten the days we went through hardships together?"
"Have you forgotten that we came through this pain together?"
"Of all those people, only the two of us are left. Asher, we are the perfect match."
"What makes her worthy of being your wife?"
Upon hearing these words, Asher's face finally showed a different expression.
He said in a cold, low voice, "Shut up."
Su Diandian squinted and turned to look at Asher, "Holy Descent, what exactly is this shady thing? It sounds like raising poisonous insects?"
Asher didn't dare look into her eyes, and only said, "If you can't withstand the power of the gods, your body will naturally die."
Wow, it sounds like the gods in the Western magical world aren't all that great.
No god would bring disaster upon its believers.
When people are speechless, they can't help but laugh out loud.
Su Diandian smiled and patted Asher on the shoulder, simply saying, "It's good that you're alive."
“Hmm.” Asher looked up, his gaze intense.
Seeing the exchange of glances between the two, Lena became even angrier. She stomped her foot, turned around, and ran away.
Su Diandian was absolutely not bluffing.
If that damn high priest really had the ability to kill her, she would thank his ancestors for eight generations.
“At the time… I just thought that if I died, I would never see you again,” Asher suddenly said.
Su Diandian withdrew her gaze and continued walking forward. "Didn't you ever think that you might never see me again even if you're alive?"
He had thought about it, but he saw it.
Asher took her hand and placed it against his strong chest. "My intuition tells me that I will see you again and touch you again."
Looking into his deep, golden eyes, Su Diandian sincerely commented, "You look quite handsome right now."
"I'm glad you like it." Asher then gently rubbed her hand against his cheek.
The atmosphere was overly ambiguous...
Su Diandian felt a chill run down her spine and quickly withdrew her hand: "Looking at flowers? Didn't we want to look at flowers?"
“Su, you are more beautiful than flowers.” Asher took a step closer. “I want to take a good look at you.”
Damn it, if it weren't for finding the divine bone, she would have loved to knee someone in the stomach.
Men really do rely on their second brain when they think.
She shrank back with a cold expression. "Could you not get so close? It's uncomfortable."
Asher laughed. "Sue, are you satisfied with it?"
Without thinking, Su Diandian blurted out, "Grandpa, I haven't used it, so I can't give an evaluation."
"Then... use it now?" Asher took another step forward, and the white cloth wrapped around his waist fell to the ground.
Su Diandian reacted as if she had been electrocuted, shaking him off and leaping eight feet away.
"In broad daylight, under the clear sky, can't you be serious for once?"
Asher asserted, “God has granted people the freedom to control their own bodies, and no one will be surprised; they will only praise the beauty of life.”
"No, are you guys really that open-minded?" Su Diandian asked in shock.
"What is openness? It's the instinct of life, Sue, don't be shy."
Asher strode closer, his long blond hair, reaching his lower back, was tousled by the wind, and he was breathtakingly beautiful.
Su Diandian's heart pounded wildly.
Good heavens! Luckily, she's seen enough handsome men, otherwise she really wouldn't be able to handle it.
She hardened her heart and slapped him: "Asher, you're right, the body is free, so it's only right that I slap you!"
