Su Diandian turned around upon hearing the sound and looked towards the altar.
On the circular altar illuminated by the firelight, a beam of light shot straight into the sky.

An aura of sorrow from ancient times emanated from the pillar of light.
Su Diandian's first thought was, a tree...
To verify her thoughts, she flew upwards along the pillar of light.
But before she could figure out whether what was above the clouds was a tree or something else, the pillar of light had already disappeared.
Helpless, she could only land and go to find Meng Che.

Meng Che looked at the elder beside him with a questioning gaze.
The elder gently shook his head.
Su Diandian closed her eyes in disappointment and let out a sigh.
Is it really that difficult to ascend to the upper realm?

Asher didn't say anything, but simply untied the cloth wrapped around his waist.

Su Diandian took two steps back and turned her head away. "Let's talk business. If you keep doing this, Uncle Hat will arrest you."
Asher stepped forward, grabbed her arm, and pulled her somewhere.
She quickly pulled her arm back and slapped Asher across the face: "Don't do anything reckless!"
Asher looked at her with hurt in his eyes and asked, "Su, if you can be with him, why can't you be with me?"
Su Diandian's face darkened, and she stepped back again. "If you're here to talk about this kind of thing, then goodbye."
Everyone does that, everyone does that!
What is she to me?
Doesn't this require building a relationship first?
Asher stopped her. "Okay, let's talk business."
"Speak," Su Diandian said, her face expressionless.
Asher raised his hand and pointed to her forehead, "Divinity."
