"Be good and stay here. I have to go find him." Su Diandian pushed Chu Xingze's hand away.
"No...no." Chu Xingze insisted on not letting go.
His expression made it seem like she was going to her death.
She sighed, rubbing her forehead. "I was just going to ask him something. I promise I won't do anything with him."
Ha, men, they worry about such trivial things?
"No, no..." Chu Xingze's eyes instantly reddened, but his face turned frighteningly pale.
The moment Su Diandian pushed his hand away to open the door, his body went limp and he collapsed to the ground.
"Hey!" Su Miaoyun exclaimed in surprise.
Su Diandian quickly turned around and half-embraced the person.
Her eyes were filled with helplessness.
What happened? Why did she wake up and then faint again?
Su Miaoyun peeked over and her expression immediately changed drastically: "You didn't cultivate with him?"
"Ah... um." Su Diandian nodded in response, "I didn't even have time before he woke up on his own."
Did you wake up on your own?
Su Miaoyun pulled her sleeve and took Chu Xingze's pulse through the fabric.
After taking his pulse, Su Miaoyun explained while casting a cleansing spell on herself: "The water fairy energy in the Flowing Immortal Pool was too strong, which woke him up, but the effect was too domineering, and he couldn't handle it either."
"Then what should we do?" Su Diandian frowned. "Is it too late for dual cultivation now?"
After a moment's thought, Su Miaoyun nodded: "Originally, dual cultivation was enough once, but now... you may have to try a few more times to see how it goes."
She felt like she was about to vomit blood, but she didn't know whether she should or not.
If she had known this would happen, she should have just pushed Chu Xingze down.

But as soon as she closed the door and turned around, her head bumped into a solid chest.
Looking up, I saw Emperor Weiying.
"Your Majesty, there's no one inside." The lie slipped out.
At that very moment, an unusual sound came from inside the house.
Su Miaoyun's cheeks were burning hot, but fortunately, her face was covered in thick makeup, so the redness was not noticeable.
Xu Weiying stood silently at the door, without saying a word.
“Your Majesty, I can help explain for her; it’s not what you think.” Su Miaoyun broke the damned silence first.
Xu Weiying remained silent, standing there like a statue, seemingly lost in thought.
"Um, she was saving someone, Your Majesty, please don't be angry with her." She spoke softly, glancing at his expression as she spoke.
The noise inside the house was so loud it was hard to know where to put one's ears.
By the God of Creation, this was the first time she had ever felt time passing so slowly.
Su Miaoyun stood there awkwardly, tugging at her sleeve.
Leaving is not an option, nor is staying.
After some time had passed, Su Diandian's voice came from inside the house, "Fairy Miaoyun, please come in."
"Ah, okay..." Su Miaoyun's face tightened, unsure whether to go in or not.
Until Xu Weiying gave her an approving look.
She breathed a sigh of relief and quickly pushed open the door to go inside.
Su Diandian, wrapped in an outer robe, stood by the screen and said with some helplessness, "His eyelashes just trembled, but he didn't wake up. Should we continue?"
Damn it, I'm so tired from all this work.
She looked at Su Miaoyun expectantly, hoping that the other party would shake her head.
However, Su Miaoyun said, "This...I'm afraid..."
As she spoke, she glanced outside from the corner of her eye.
"Beautiful and lovely Fairy Miaoyun, can you just say what you want to say?"
As soon as Su Diandian finished speaking, she caught a glimpse of a corner of a garment outside the house out of the corner of her eye.
It must be that crazy Xu Weiying.
She clasped her hands together and pleaded softly with Su Miaoyun, "Fairy Miaoyun, please help me hold him off. Thank you."
After saying that, he went behind the screen again to continue rescuing Chu Xingze.
Listening to the commotion behind the screen, Su Miaoyun lowered her head and hesitantly took small steps away.

"Your Majesty!" She hugged him tightly. "Your Majesty, I have something I want to ask you."
Xu Weiying paused for a moment, then finally withdrew the leg she had stepped out with.
"Your Majesty, may I ask when I ascended to this realm?" she asked, her gaze fixed intently on Xu Weiying's eyes.
"I have never ascended to immortality." Xu Weiying said this very bluntly, her thin lips slightly parted.
"I am her substitute, am I?" Su Miaoyun's heart clenched tightly.
"No." This was also Xu Weiying's truth.
He never treated her as a substitute; she was merely a tool.
"Thank you, Your Majesty." The weight that had been pressing on Su Miaoyun's heart finally lifted.
Just then, a sound came from inside the house.
Chu Xingze has woken up.
He embraced Su Diandian with delight, turning over to take the initiative: "Wife, I told you, I won't let you suffer anymore."
Su Diandian glared at him, "Don't talk."
The person had been revived, and she immediately got up and dressed.
But as soon as she put on her undergarments, someone grabbed her waist.
Then, in a flash, she found herself on another bed.
